I'm planning on writing a somewhat thorough essay on how casting superheroes from the comic genre can work. Basically what I feel is, even if the actor does not necessarily have to look like the character already, in order to play the part, but has the potential to work with in order to get in character (as well as an exceptional thespian).

So, I've searched all over to find pictures of Lynda Carter, Adam West, Christopher Reeve [sic] before they were casted in aforementioned parts, and no such luck at all.

And if you're going to make a snarky comment about how I just suck at researching, don't tell me so :o

Unfortunately it is a little difficult, since the roles pretty much made them stars.


DVD documentaries might work at least for Reeve, though-depends if you have a means of doing screencaps.

maybe look through their filmographies and then go by film/tv title and see what shows up.
Don't know if much will show up for Lynda Carter, but you should be able to find some Chris Reeve.

Lynda Carter should be kind of easy since she was a beauty queen. As for the rest, I'd just check fan sites.

I'm specifically looking for agency shots specifically, since a photo of them in other roles will be them again, in character.
