    Default FoolKiller #1 (Spoilers)

Some random thug who owes money to the gang he works for, they beat the living crap out of him and even shred his hand. He still doesn't say anything, they go for his wife and daughter. Kill them both.

    (Scene change)
group of lacrosse players who are done pulling a train on some girl calling the (C) word. Foolkiller comes in with his cane sword and proceeds to do his work.

The thug who got beaten up goes to his home and finds the blood around the house of his wife and child. He passes out and ends up in a hosital bed. He calls himself a Fool for getting involved as he is. Then all of a sudden the emergency room fills up with those lacrosse players with playing cards tagged to their cheeks. Apparently they have been castrated and are seen screaming in the ER.

Doctors whisper about it being some new vigilante type. The Thug overhears even the other patients talking about this foolkiller about how he used to have a cape and sword and gun but that he takes on anyone. The thug goes to one of the last lacrosse players and mentions his name and the guy screams and dies, total flatline out of fear.

The thug finds on his hospital window a Fool card saying "are you?" The thug leaves the hospital and finds his older daughtetr who has a heart defect and is on a waiting list. she basically curses him out and say's she wants nothing to do with him.

Out at bars and clubs and people he meets on the street he learns more and more about the foolkiller, basically he has stone hard fists, and has a big black dog with teeth like a rottweiler. More of Foolkiller's victims are showing up,,,very nasty stuff.

3 guys with hands on their eyes, ears, and mouth seperately with their stomachs split open and their intestines sticking out. (see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil)

One guy had his limbs chewed off and he was held in a seated position with wooden 4x4 holding him up. Bloody dog footprints from that scene.

The head of some company speaking to an audience,he leaves and the thug follows him and you see the big black dog walking around the corner. Foolkiller grabs him by the throat and takes him away. The thug goes underneath the podium and finds chains and hooks allover and as the curtain opens up on stage the body of the ceo is in the trash can, legs around his head covered in blood. The thug then finds the foolkiller and falls back as he see's him with his sword and dog.

I flapped through the book at the shop. Raping a dead woman is all kinds of wrong.

Does it say whether they are redoing the original origin from man thing where he would talk to the floating corpse in the embalming fluid? Or is this gonna be a new setup with origin? I notice having cards is similar. This sounds nasty, but definitely a potential trade buy.

I believe it's a completely new Foolkiller with no connection to the others.

I wouldn't think you are supposed to like him. He's clearly a bit of a psycho.

yeah, but i kind of like psychos. i like Frank Castle. i like Bullseye. i like Slapstick. but something about Foolkiller doesn't sit well w/ me. maybe i'll eventually get over it but the castration seemed all sorts of wrong. couldn't he have just beaten the sht out of the lacrosse players and superglued their junk to their legs?

He puts the 'killer' in 'Foolkiller'.

yeah, but he didn't kill them. he castrated them. just my preference but i would prefer a Foolkiller who psychologically torments the offender as a kind of warning; allowing a chance to repent before killing them. i would prefer a more 'playful' version of the Punisher, instead of Extreme-Punisher.

It's not good. Hurwitz is not a good writer.

They never said she was dead. Most likely she was passed out drunk or drugged by the soon-to-be-weinerless meatheads.

I really enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. From interviews with Hurwitz, I was expecting a rehash of Punisher MAX, but he surprised me with his take on the vigilante killer idea.
