I hated her the moment I heard of her. She showed me that the X-Men no longer had any sort of standards as far as letting people onto the team. I mean a prostitute that could make you have orgasms. Umm, yeah........

She was OK under Casey, but whatever he did just paled in comparison to Morrison's greatness.

I really loved Casey's run particualrly with Phillips as the artist..i love how that guy draws faces...incredible. I always find it interesting...people that liekd Morrisons run usually like Caseys....

I think haveing a prostitute X-Man made sense...the X-Men arent your average super heros theyre not thrown together to be a public wya to fight villains theyre thrown together because they have one thing in common genetics...therefore this should encompass people of different nationalities, races, religions, sexual orientations and should relaistically show people of less desireable lifestyles...Stacy X was still allowed in as to quote her she was 'down with the cause'...you dont have to be squeaky clean to want acceptance and freedom. I mean look at Logan hes a mass murderer and still allowed in...not to mention the return of Mystique and Sabretooth to X-teams.

If youve not read anything on Stacy X read UXM #408...this i feel is the definitive Stacy X issue.

Yeah, if I remember, I just think they were under pressure with a character being called Ectstacy. So they switched it around with Stacy-X. I personally wouldn't have cared, because Ecstacy really suits her I think, but I'm not the one calling the shots. But even if I'm wrong and you're right, Marvel was under pressue somehow and they had to change.....(

Even if the pressure was from an external source, I'm amazed they named her Stacy-X, a name that makes it obvious they caved in to the pressure and just sounds dumb. They could have gone with Temptation, Temptress, Succubus, Spellbinder, Tease, Seductress, Seduction, Maneater... They had plenty of options, y'know?

At this point, I think they should just change it to Ecstasy. It's not gonna turn anyone into a drug addict, and I really doubt any readers will roll their eyes at it.

Isn't it interesting though to see that for whatever reasons some people may like her or not, Austen was the one who gave her the most characterization. IMO, it was under him where you started to like her or really hate her. But I find it funny that she was one character Austen "got" IMHO. Me personally, I don't mind her around but not on an X-team....

I think Austen completely ruined Stacy X and the potential she had. She was great under Casey's pen and became boring and whinny with Austen, IMO.
