    Default Voting or no?

I think we should have voting, that way everyone who comes to these forums can get involved. Otherwise it's kinda like a closed-off clique thing going on. I would like to get the whole forum community in on it. Also, voting is fun!

The question is whether the votes should be used to pick a winner (No-prize!) or just as feedback about what people like to see - and buy.

Oh, each Challenge will definitely be in its own thread.

I like the idea of voting too...with participants KNOWING that this isn't a formal competition or anything. I'd like to see everyone participate, even if they don't think they're good enough for something like CBI. And as for a "prize" I like the idea of the winner choosing the next script theme. [quote]

Give me a few days to get it organized; I'll aim to get the first Script Challenge posted on 12/1. If you'd like to come up with the theme for the first one, why don't you PM it to me?

I haven't had the chance to stop by here in a few days and it's great to see how much things are moving along! :) I like the script challenge followed by sequential challenge approach. For the art half I'd vote for at least two weeks to do an average of three pages. The next script challenge could always start while the art challenge is still going on and for longer scripts people could select the three pages they wanted to draw. Maybe that sounds too laid back, but I know for CBI I put in a lot more time than I'd feel comfortable committing to on a regular basis. I'd rather have the contest be more about quality than speed and it would give people more freedom to try new things and learn from past experiences. That's just me though, I'm not sure how most people feel. I love how this coming together!

Sorry for the delay in reply. After the contest ended, I have been superbusy as I have had some catching up to do. But I really want to thank you all who took the time and gave me comments and critiques. They are all very welcome and appreciated!

Hope it's not too late for some random Spidey comments from my side:

DanielSchenstrom: Again you have improved in leaps from the last rounds. Really nice shot of Galactus on the last page.

polystelenam: Looks good. It would have been awesome to see these pages more finished.

    Nope, pure accident ;)

Hieu Le Bui: Your rendering is beautiful! Though I think that if this was the first issue of a new serie with Spider-Man as a leading character, he should be in a main role in the cover.

Vig: I think your style fits perfectly to this kind of stuff. I see some small hint of Tim Sale, which is always a big plus :)

Joh James: Awesome pages, dude! You proved again why I gave my vote to you when you were in the competition.

Kamgates: Overall impressive pages with cool dinos!

Sorry I didn't have time to comment all of you individually and thoroughly enough. On the whole, Play at Home rocked. It was nice to see so many of you creating cool art every week!

Oh, and the continue idea sounds very good! Hope I have time to participate in it.

    Rock on, guys!

And now back to drawing board, Christmas is on its way and people want their cards to be made :)

Any news on the Play At Home thread continuation? Just wondering or is it dead?

Caio, that's quite funny:) . Some people around the world think that people in Malaysia live on trees as well.

Would anyone here happen to have any of the Comic book idol assignment scripts??...I would like to try my hand and practice drawing sequential pages..Some of the links for those assignments seem not to work anymore..just hoping someone might have saved them.
