    Default Spider-man's agility & Kaine's strength

How does Spidey's agility rank against other's? Is he the top of the food chain? Is there anyone on his level? My first instinct is Beast & Nightcrawler, but I'm not sure.

And where does Kaine's strength fall? I heard that he was the strongest Spider character (not counting Cosmic Spiderman or Carnage).

Kaine's powers were a little bit more than spider-man's. His visions for example were spider-man's spider sense, powered up. No one explained this though, it lost in the crossovers, as it was Scrier's and Judas Traveler's.

I think Nightcrawler might been on par with Spidey wheras Beast is a little below. As far as agility goes though, I think Spidey is tops outside of cosmic characters like Silver Surfer.

Kaine's stronger the Spider-Man but I don't think he's necessarily the strongest Spider-character. Guys like Carnage (as you stated) or Venom could probably give him a run for his money. Plus, the 90s Clone Saga Jackal was usually able to take him down, and could hold his own pretty well against Ben and Peter in some situations. In terms of overall brute strength though, I'd give the nod to Rhino. Morlun's probably got him beat, too.

Oh, and you only need to post this is one place. The questions thread is fine.

My fault. I saw the Q&A and was going to erase this thread, but I didn't see anyway to do it, so I figured it would just get pushed out of sight in a couple of hours. But thanks for the answers.

Spidey (and hence anyone with his powers) is far more agile than Nightcrawler, though I do believe Nightcrawler would be the next best thing.

Kaine's stronger than Peter, but not, I believe, as strong as Venom.

Here's an interesting thought...Kaine was stronger than Spider-Man, and there was really no explanation other than Kaine being able to use the spider-powers to their full potential.

Now that Peter has been through the whole Other experience, I wonder if it means he's gained naturally what Kaine was created with.

Aww...he's not as strong as Venom? He just plummetted in my eyes. I thought that whole "the more I degenerate the stronger I get" angle would have put him at least in Carnage's range. Damn...that really takes the wind out of his sails for me.

They've never met, so any strength comparisons are speculation.

Where did the Venom line "I want to eat your brains" start? I know it was a running gag in Mini Marvels, but I saw it twice in recent weeks (once in Spider-Man/Red Sonja and once in Punisher War Journal). How far back does it go? Because clearly, it's become a running joke based off something.

Venom first said it in one of the stories that Eric Larsen drew. It was probably Venom's 3rd or 4th story appearance. Marvel consistently used it as a gag trait to the character throughout the 90s. Some people don't like Venom because of him constantly using this line and think he's one dimensional because of it.

It also made it's way into one of the first Venom action figures. In a line of figures with push-button voices, one of Venom's lines was, "I'm going to eat your brain!" (along with "Die, Spider-Man" and "Growl!")

Here's a question how long have Peter and MJ been married in their time? I'm guessing no more then 5 years.

I'd say Normie Osborn's age minus six months to one year, but a little less than five years sounds about right.
