Hello there everyone! I've been getting through the Brand New Day timeline and loving it, but I have a question in regards to Venom. I picked up Venom: Dark Origin to read some more elaboration on Eddie, and am looking forward to it, but I see that there is also the Spider-Man: Birth of Venom tpb. Can anyone comment on this and voice their opinion if it is worthy of a buy? I am familiar with the origin of Venom but that is mostly through the old animated series and reading some info online. Thanks in advance

Yeah, it's definitely worth a buy.

It includes the original Alien Costume saga, as well as David Micheline and Todd Mcfarlane's first Venom stories.

It's more of a Nova thing than a spider-man thing but since it involves OMD/OMIT I figure i should ask here. Shouldn't Nova be unaffected by the whole thing since A) he's in bloody space and B) he's got shields against that sort of tampering?
I'm mostly wondering since it would be somewhat entertaining for him to come back and accidentally release Pete's identity or for him to notice that the entire planet got mind-wiped.

    Default A moment in time

OK so I like the story within one moment in time. How it was explained and I like it. But it doesnt take away from Mephisto actually being the force that created all this right?

    BTW MJ and Peter forever!

depends on who you ask. Id say OMIT removes mephisto from the happenings of OMD... as it shows in the story how OMD now happens without him. I suppose it comes down to your view on time changes. The Peter whom doesnt get married has nothing to trade to Mephisto and never makes a deal with him. However for that peter to exist, Peter and MJ that are married must agree to removing the marriage.

Default Spider-Man Graphic Novel Reading Order After OMD

Is there somewhere I can find a list that tells me the exact reading order of these graphic novels? I'm almost done with BND Vol. 3 and I don't know what comes next.

And how far in is American Son, that what I really want to get to.

If you're interested in Kraven, check out the recent "Grim Hunt" collection.

Anyone other than me notice that the Amazing Spider-Man 667 Dell 'Otto variant is almost non existent even on Ebay? Was their something that made this 1/100 more rare than the others? Anyone have any ideas?

    Default TPB or single issues?

I thinking about Abo, the amazing spiderman. Till now i only bought the TBC but its alot of waiting there. So my question is! Worth it to buy the single issues? Because in case of the spider island arc as example you have in the TPB alot of extra issues... and if you get the single issues you will miss alot or? thx for answers

trade is ultimately cheaper... but you have to wait well past the current arc to get it.

Comes down to a do you have the money to follow the event and its tie ins vs waiting for the cheaper price.

Also, moving this to the general questions thread.

So, if i buy only the "the amazing spiderman" issues i get lost? The nice thing about the spider island tpb is that you ahve all important tie ins dont you?
