No you are not.
I do wonder why they all suffer from motion sickness though. Is it some kind of backwards prepartion for flight or something?
It's also kind of surprising that Gajeel was this "immature" as far as dragon slayers go.
EDIT: Upon a re-reading I'm convinced that Sting really is going to regret letting Fairy Tail get those miniscule points.

Ok, good.
Maybe Dragons are so used to free mobility that their body doesn't like being moved. Sort of like how we can get motion sick if our eyes don't reconcile what we see with what our ears feel--maybe Dragons feel like they are flying when being carried, but their body tells them they are not flying, so it creates the sickness. Maybe Happy gets around this because he simulates Dragon flight so perfectly.I do wonder why they all suffer from motion sickness though. Yeah, I'm guessing he just never invested a lot of time in developing himself as a DS, instead opting to use his abilities as they were and just get stronger physically. But that's changed now, after his double KO with those animal goons. Maybe he'll have significantly different fighting styles now. It's also kind of surprising that Gajeel was this "immature" as far as dragon slayers go.
You divide points if there is a tie right? I could see Sting and Natsu double KO'ing each other in the final and Fairy Tail wins by like 1 point because of this incident.EDIT: Upon a re-reading I'm convinced that Sting really is going to regret letting Fairy Tail get those miniscule points.

I figured the whole Gajeel being an immature dragon slayer was a translation issue because it didn't seem to make any sense.

If true then there might be a deeper connection between dragon slayers and the exceed than we previously believe... other exceed have flown Natsu right? And I wonder if this means that more dragon traits will appear as time moves on, which brings up the whole dragon slayers and their age thing.
And I will not rest until I know if other dragon slayers get sick by Lucy carrying them around!
There's also the point that Gajeel's been training together with Lilly during the three month time-skip. Maybe he unlocked some til then dormant part of his dragon slayer self.
Yeah. In the fight portion a draw gives you five points each so that seems like a possible outcome.
Speaking of points. While Raven Tail are fairly underwhelming so far, though I still think Nullpuding was good at what he did, they are gaining a point lead by consistently being placed second.
Can Panther Lily fly? Maybe the motion sickness is some sort of bonding thing that happens when Dragonslayers befriend Exceed and start using them for travel.
Though that doesn't explain Laxus at all, so I'm probably wrong.

Cobra was on Nirvana for a little while when it started moving, and had no problems either. Somehow I feel like limiting the weakness to first-gen DS's would've been more fitting, but maybe that gimps them too much.
Also, I just realized we still don't know what Bacchus's actual magic is...

Eh, I'm not going to call that, because it has all the trappings and foreshadowing of an upcoming plot twist. If it was a retcon, no one would question it, and an antagonist wouldn't be teasing him about what it signifies.
They name dropped his fighting technique last chapter. I think he really just uses that and nothing else. The magic he uses to support it is just buffing his strength and durability. Maybe his speed/mobility too. Also, I just realized we still don't know what Bacchus's actual magic is...

I wouldn't mind if the second generation dragon slayers don't suffer from motion weakness. Hell, it'd make sense since they're not true dragon slayers to begin with. They just kind of immitate the magic.
It would also make him a rather fitting opponent for Elfman to face in a magic powered fist fight. Although I'm hoping that Elfman is now able to change into different kinds of beasts and not just the one he usually goes for.
My other question is, why did Sting choose to participate in a round called "Chariot"? Natsu's an idiot, and this is new for Gazille, but Sting? Did he just wanna talk?
Also, I realized we're down to about two (known) members per team who haven't competed yet (except Cerberus since they called in Bacchus):
FT A: Erza, Elfman
FT B: Mira, Luxus
Raven Tail: Obra, Masked Guy
Lamia Scale: Shellia, Toby (seriously, they sent Toby?)
Blue Pegasus: Hibiki, Bunny-suit guy
Mermaid Heel: Millianna, Band Girl
Quatro Cerberus: The other three guys
Sabertooth: Rogue, and the girl.
Surprisingly, Bacchus will be handling a competition and a fight on the same day. Depending on how the fight goes, he might be cresting too early. Alternatively, Cerberus isn't gonna keep sending him out every day, are they? That'd be kinda funny in its own way.

Laxus apparently has the same problem, so it looks like it affects 2nd generation Dragonslayers as well.

I'm thinking that Sting said that he'd do the contest part before the name was announced due to being impatient and he boasted himself up and shit. Then the name was announced and he was allbut had to do it anyway so as to not lose face.
I'm thinking that Bacchus is going to go down hard in the battle and might not be able to show up any more after that. It would be funny if Toby got to face off against Rogue, just for an utter curbstomp of a battle.![]()
