There are other non-Zodiac constellations that can be used for keys. I mean, sure, we might never see them because they'd be low-level compared to Lucy and the others we've seen who had the golden keys.

It's building up an opponent for Erza later in the chapter, and yes, I suppose she will look good when she defeats her because that's usually what happens when a protagonist overcomes a challenge.
Lucy is already going to be a part of something big this arc. We don't know just what yet, but I'm sure it will give her a chance to shine. Besides, her and the other stellar mage can still face off and have it be a win for her. It's not like Lucy is on Erza's level.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

Wasn't it established that Gemini has limitations, though? The transformation only lasts five minutes, and it established in this arc that they can't copy someone who's extremely powerful (like, say, Makarov, Erza, or Laxus).

Interesting chapter.
-Considering Lucy has most of the golden keys by now, she may be the most powerful stellar mage around. But who knows.
Not much to say but to just wait for things to roll out. And it's nice to see that Mermaid Heel has some powerful characters as well.

Sometimes you lose things which you don't expect losing. It doesn't make the hurt any less.
Anyone else notice how Raven Tail and Sabertooth both have only a single female member on their team, and that member seems to be bullied by the others (and in Corona's case, physically abused)?
With Yukino it wasn't overt, but the way Sting was talking to her, it kind of seemed like she had a sword hanging over her head.

It's never been about how many keys the mage has. It's about how she or he uses them and how strong their own magic is, Lucy said pretty early on that the stronger her magical power is the stronger her spirits are.Me neither.
I got the feeling that Sting was reminding Yukino, who seems to be a new member of the guild, that they have a reputation to uphold, hoping that she could make up for his screw-up.

I guess I got that vibe because of the way Sting brushed off his own failure and the others didn't seem too worried by it, but then Sting turned around and what he said to Yukino felt like there was implied threat that if she lost she'd be ditched.
Maybe I was just reading way too much into that scene though. I guess we'll see.
So, considering that Lucy always acquires the new keys that show up in every arc and that this plan needs a stellar mage as a sacrifice, and Lucy is a mains character I have to wonder what Yukino's chances of survival are.
