    Default 3rd Kryptonian, Kal-El & Diana's daughter?

JUst a theory of mine but it is revealed that the "3rd krptonian" is not Zod, his kid, or Powergirl, but a new female. I'm going to guess that it's some future or multiverse version of Kal-El and Wonder Woman's daughter.

Don't bite my head off yet.

In the Countdown preview (the one that has Supes crying on Diana's shoulder and the Statue of Liberty broken in the background) we now have hints from Dan D as to what certain things mean. In the case of the cying Superman it says something like "Superman and Wonder Woman discuss parent issues".

Now in the latest JLA/JSA crossover, we have 7 Legion of Super-Heroes members, and one of them hints of Diana's unborn daughter that wears a cape.

Could I be looking too much into this, or does anyone else think this is a sound theory?

What could a child of Kryptonian and Amazon decent be, 50% kryptonian, 50% clay? The child would have to register as more Kyptonian than anything, right?

    wha?

Why wouldnt you include Supergirl in your analysis of kryptonians on the planet? She is female, and is 100% kryptonian..
Rogue and Bishop's daughter would be called Discharge, and she'd touch people and drain all or some of their bioelectrical energy out of them causing them to either die or fall unconscious. She could then use this energy to extend her own life, heal herself, enhance her physical abilities (speed, strength, stamina,) or discharge it as various energy beams.

No because Power Girl was there before Supergirl.

Superman, Powergirl, Supergirl, but thats not exactly why I brought her up, going by HIS view he left her out totally.

Power Girl and Krypto didn't register as Kryptonians and, as I recall, Kurt implied that the Auctioneer's scan would not have picked up Conner if he were alive, since he was 50% Kryptonian.

The third Kryptonian is a humanoid 100% Kryptonian from the same universe as Kal and Kara who arrived on earth before Chris Kent.

which again rules out it being any possible child of Superman and Wonder Woman.

Sigh why not just make up an entirely new flagship race that isn't destroyed so you can flug the crap out of new super characters whenever you want. *looks at DC with a glare.*

Default Well what about lara from DK2 and now all star batman and Robin!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe she got sucked back thru time and world? Kc supes and Wonder Woman had a son...Im sure they would like to have more then one kid this time a daughter. So perhaps she got kidnaped, to force her old man to fight in the Arena. To save his little girl?

Or the third Kryptonian is the fetus lois is carrying...if she is pregnant?

Or the orginal supergirl kara had a daughter no one knew about. [she was married to some alien..revieled after she died.] This little girl could have been in stasis.

Or Krypto found himself a really sexy bitch!

Or if all else fail and it will...recon punch!

I had her in mind, but didn't include her because she IS the 2nd Kryptonian, I assumed it was commen knowledge by now. Sorry.

Did the original pre-crisis Supergirl have a child? I new she was married to some alien like you mentioned, but i don't remember her having a baby. Also, didn't Powergirl have a child too, or did Zero Hour clean that up?

I think we can safely eliminate that one from the list of possibilities.

Over on the DC boards last week, someone started a thread with the catchy title "Lois is pregnant?" Reacting, I gather, to some dialogue in "Superman #666" (which I haven't read, since I almost always "wait for the trade" these days).

Kurt Busiek, writer of that story, eventually participated in that thread. Someone else had just complained about the spoiler in the thread title. Busiek commented that the title wasn't really a spoiler for "Superman #666" because, as he said:

A bunch of people seem to have read a dream sequence that's explicitly mentioned to be a dream multiple times, and come away thinking it was real.

In context, what that obviously means is: "Referring to Lois possibly being pregnant in the thread title wasn't much of a Spoiler because she definitely ain't."

About the Pre-Crisis Supergirl: I think davids's whole point was that we've never heard of any such child, but that doesn't mean DC couldn't create one out of thin air with a big stinking retcon. (It's happened to a zillion other superheroes over the years! "Gee, fanboys, did we forget to mention that your favorite hero has a long-lost child? How careless of us!")

About Power Girl and her kid: her child was still around in the DCU for awhile after Zero Hour; I'm sure of that much. He rapidly grew up (offstage) and called himself "Equinox" when he appeared in the "Justice League America" series that immediately preceded the series that began with Grant Morrison as the regular writer. I'm told that his very last appearance was in #108 of that series -- cover-dated February 1996. Here's a link to a cover scan:

    http://www.comics.org/coverview.lasso?id=58432&zoom=4

From things I've read online about him, I have the impression that he has never been seen or heard from since that time, however. Does that mean that somewhere along the line he's been retcon-punched out of existence? How would I know? We can certainly hope so, though!

On the other hand: if PatrickG is correct in saying that Power Girl doesn't register as a true Kryptonian (presumably because she isn't from the genetic stock of the Kryptonians of the mainstream timeline of DC's titles), then it doesn't matter if her son Equinox is still cluttering up the DCU or not; he wouldn't register as Kryptonian (nor even half-Kryptonian) either! :)

True, I just wish Superman was the last of his race, all these others like Zod and Kara are pissing me off.
