I noticed no mention of the Stan Lee DC heroes. Wouldn't they have an Earth? Is there an agrement never to use these heroes again?

    Har har har!

I agree. After Geoff Johns ( I think it was Johns) worked so hard to come up with a consistent origin for Hawkman, they had to have Starlin ruin it all.

So what was Hawkman's connection with Thanagar, that is before Starlin came along?

And would Superman be more interesting if they started hinting he was really from Daxam and his family was visiting Krypton during the time that planet blew up?

    Default Earth Obama?

The preview for Final Crisis #7 shows us a glimpse of a new alternate Earth. If that Earth's U.S. President has a last name that doesn't start with an "O", I'll be mighty surprised.

I wonder if the Jeff Pierce of this new Earth goes by "White Lightning"? It would be funny if he had moonshiner ancestors...

SL Superman was shown in Infinite Crisis when Superman "split" into all those multiple versions.

FINAL CRISIS has come and gone, and we still have no real indication of what this current Multiverse's Earth-1 universe is like, although we seem to have established that the current, main DCU is not Earth-1 (being instead Earth-Zero).

The responses are as predictable as they are sad.

I'm thinking that's pretty significant. I think DC doesn't want to touch Earth-1 until it absolutely has to. It's probably something they want to treat very carefully.

    there should be yes.

the Monitors were feeding on the multiverse which stunted it's growth

That would make earth 1 earth prime, interesting theory

Checking back to the updated first post, I find it interesting to note that at this point, out of 52 universes, only sixteen remain undesignated, and (since two have been shown but not named) only fourteen unused. Who thought DC would go through them so quickly?

Let's hope the multiverse will be left alone for a while now...

Maybe Earth-6 as seen in Superman Beyond #1 ? They appeared to be Marvel analogues involved in a Civil War. Also seemed like they were being invaded by Durlans (Skrulls) ....
