    Default CBRdraws: HARRY POTTER

CBRdraws is simple. We pick a character from comics, games, cartoons, whatever, and then people post their own drawings of that character.

It never closes, so its not like you have to do a drawing by the end of the week, but if you want a challenge each week to draw something you didn't expect to, it might be a good excercise.

No level of skill required, this is just for fun. It can be a splash page or part of a story. It can be penicils, inks, colors, paint, photography... really anything goes.

This week, your assignment is to draw the Boy Who Lived, HARRY POTTER!

    Some Reference.

    Have fun!

This is from a good while ago, but I always liked it, since I actually attempted a background. Usually my characters just occupy a void or I do a really half-assed batch of lines to imply a background or something.

not bad. good strategy for the scale texture. those robes always look silly to me, but he's a wizard, so there's no way to avoid it.

you can loosen up a bit, but you've got a good repertoire of textures and ways to convince the eye.

Well, I decided to make a more comic-booky Harry Potter. Drew this up real quick.
