Bah, the first one was unimpressive. James Robinson did far more interesting work with the Freedom Fighters characters in Starman only to have DC kill them for shock value.
For-Real-True is only true now.
Story-True is true forever.

Fun promise of a good series. :p
However just who is Red bee ? :(
looking forward to this new Freedom Fighters mini. Really enjoyed the last one, loved the action and political commentary. Liked how they reintroduced new Freedom Fighters, especially the ones that had connections to the characters of the past, also the use of those in the Bludhaven mini. Good stuff all around really.
[IHappy[I] Terrill? He was the original Ray! If this is not a misprint, I would love to see how this character is reincorporated back into the DC universe by Gray and Palmiotti.
Also, when does the team seek justice for the murders of the original Human Bomb, Black Condor II and Phantom Lady (Dee Tyler)?
Who is the artist? I'd like to see Acuna taken off of Flash, where his artistic style doesn't fit, and put on here, if necessary...
The original Red Bee, Richard Raleigh, was the epitome of the "lame" Golden-Age character (originally a Quality Comics character): a guy who could command and control bees that he kept in his belt buckle.
He died on a Freedom Fighters mission fighting Nazis to save Hourman. (All-Star Squadron #35)
The latest Freedom Fighters series, of course, introduced a new (female) version, Jenna Raleigh who seems more competent. Then again, how could she not bee?

Sold!
I happen to enjoy the first mini and I'm looking forward to more.
I only wish that the Invisible Hood didn't have to die, but this team's way cool.
Renato Arlem's artwork going to rock, even though we won't have the return of Daniel Acuna.
"If you live among wolves you have to act like a wolf."
the books going to look like an alex maleev book because renato arlem is coping his style at the moment...
Yay. Ray and Happy are back and together again. I can't wait to see the dysfunctional father and son duo once again. Go Ray!!!
I'm in 2 minds about this series. I dropped the 1st series due to a few reasons: Aruna's art (not a fan), Phantom Lady's ridiculous outfit (they had the perfect opportunity to update her look like they did the others, and instead went for fanboy pandering), and a dislike of most of the new characters. However, I've read that the book finished well and that I may have dropped it too early.
Arlem is a good artist, though, so I might check this out.
i dropped the first one also because of acuna's work...it looked very bad and sadly i won't be getting this one because of the artwork...and i like the ray..damn...
