Just in time for July 4th, Devil's Due Publishing has provided CBR News with an advance look at "G.I. Joe: America's Elite" #25, celebrating twenty-five years of G.I. Joe.

Nice way to kick thing off for an action pack story arc. :p
damn freaking good start, great start to a year long arc
In all my years at CBR, I think this the first time I've seen a Joe review/preview thread.
BTW, with Devils Due shutting down it's forums, I've gone into serious Joe withdrawal when it comes to discussing the series. Does anyone know where most of the DD posters are hanging out now?

A lot of the staff from DDP are members here, but they seem to lurk (I guess they are being quiet since their own forum is gone). A lot of new members have joined up recently, and the board is getting busier each day. Best place to post if you're a Joe fan.
it is a great place, good people, I joined a few days ago and am having a blast
Thanks for the info guys. I'll check it out.

Hell yeah! This is what I'm talking about. I haven't read a Joe comic in years, but I'll definitely be checking this out. Good stuff.
Here's hoping Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Jinx, Joe Colton, Stalker , Adm. Keel Haul and Claymore play key roles in the arc.
Try joereloaded.com . Run by Phil Kost, DD's current GI Joe military adviser. Its pretty good, and most, if not the members are mature. And unlike the old DD forums, you won't get nuked for being open with your views. They really DISCUSS. DD gets so defensive at times whem you call them on any discrepancies from the estasblished Marvel GI Joe lore.
Quite so, and you know what they say about the truth-it hurts! :) I think its a reason why DD's GI Joe really hasn't escaped the shadow of the Marvel series; and it doesn't help their case that their first series was clogged with references to the GI Joe cartoons! And Lady J as head of Intel? Might as well have a big neon sign over the Pit saying: Saboteurs, Spies, Double Agents, and Traitors- it's open house on GI Joe secrets! Come one, come all! :)
And, yes, I was R6. A lotta us have shifted over to Joereloaded.com. It helps that Phil's fair and more open to opposing views.
