Heh.. some of us buy our political themed books at the same time as our comic book trades.

If you get one that says..

"We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated books by Tim Seeley have also purchased The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama.."

You can blame that one on me.

And ooo.. a new word.. gothopotamus..

I think I like that one better than gothcow..

    Has more zing.

I suggest going back a few pages in this thread and you'll find the answer to your question.

Two options for the My First Maniac trade in November coming...

SEP100461 HACK SLASH MY FIRST MANIAC TP VOL 01 (MR) $9.99
SEP100462 HACK SLASH MY FIRST MANIAC TP VOL 01 S/N LTD ED (MR) $29.99

    and....

SEP100440 HACK SLASH TRAILERS PART 2 (MR) SRP: $6.99

Awesome, the first Trailers book was fun!

There's the surprise book we didn't know about!

Also the IMAGE COMICS 2010 SDCC YEARBOOK HC is being offered through Previews, that has a Leister pin up of Cassie in it.

    I needz some elaboration.

So one could pay ten dollars for the MFM tradeback, or get one with a signal to noise ratio for an additional 20 dollars.

How does one accomplish the signal to noise ratio with a comic?

And what's the low down on Trailers II? I figure there's more to it than the first Trailers since the cover price is significantly higher.

I love how Image has put out a few trades now with a 9.99 cover price. I picked up the first Haunt trade for a ten spot as well.

It's a business model that other publishers should really adopt. It allows the trades to be competitive with the mangas at chains like Barnes and Noble. And a teen may more likely pick up that trade if it's roughly the same price as the manga they usually get.

Speaking of Image, did anyone else pick up Nancy In Hell this month?

    Not bad..

S/N LTD ED = Signed and Numbered Limited Edition (or maybe Sketched and Numbered, but I'm guessing Signed)

We'll know more about Trailers when the solicitations are released or Previews comes out next week.
