I just wanted to share some pictures from last night. My wife and I went to a Halloween Party dressed as Vlad and Cassie.

Thanks. It was a pretty easy and inexpensive costume. For me it was simple. The jeans, boots, green shirt (for Vlad's skin color), wife-beater tee, and hoodie I already owned.
All I needed to buy was a demon-skeleton mask ($10), a respirator (free from my wife's job), black gloves from Wal-Mart ($2), 1 tube of green makeup ($3), 1 tube of silver makeup ($3), 2 fake plastic Cleavers ($4 each), a used lacrosse shoulderpad set ($6), some padding (free) and an inside out swimcap ($3). Total = $35

The missus wore a skirt she already owned and raided Hot Topic for the rest. I spray-painted an old bat and BAM! Instant Cassie.

A big apology to all those eagerly awaiting Hackoween part 2.

Technical difficulties are currently preventing us from updating the website.

Rest assured, we'll keep you posted as to the progress. In the meantime, here is some music.

Default Bryan Baugh is great, but.....

I really don't think he fits well with Hack/Slash. I have seen his work. Liked Wulf and Batsy, and seen some sketches that he has done online and I really enjoy the look that he brings to everything that he has done.
    EXCEPT for H/S.
I just can't get into his H/S stuff. I was so in love with Emily Stones' work and now looking at something that is quite different, I just wish she would come back or someone else would takeover and keep H/S along the same artistic lines as she did.
I have been finding it hard to get into the storyline and stay focused.
Sorry to say this, but I can't wait till his run is over.

I re-read the tub club story arc over the weekend.

Isaacs Cassie may be my second favorite, right below Tim's.

    Stone's Cassie is #3.

    Anywho..

    This is cool..

The artist is asking people if they like the nip shot or the non nip shot.

    I voted nip.

    PG stuff bores me.

    Can't please 'em all.
Bryan stepped in, caught us up after some late artists, and drew the hell out of his pages. At the time, he had only been available for a few months, so I lined up Dan Leister to do part of issues 28 and 29, and then begin as regular guy with 30. Dan is a little closer, stylistically, to Emily Stone.

As a fan of the book for a few years now, I'm glad to see that Bryan stepped in an helped out. I was always a fan of Stefano's work, so Emily's style being so close to his style had me favor her as well. Dan Leister's work looks just as similar -- as you mentioned -- so I'm anticipating his turn at the book. With all of that said, I await the day that this Tim Seeley guy can do the art on a regular basis as well. He draws nice.
