I very much dig those artists, cool to hear.

DROKK IT!!
Can anybody explain the final page of issue #15 to me? What happened to the professor? What did he inject Cassie with?
The professor was in the building that the mutant spider and Gorillaconda slammed into, so its safe to say he was killed by falling debris.
As for what he injected Cassie with well, this is a pic of either cover a or cover b of #19 according to Deviant Art and it should answer your question..
Yeah, it looks like Cassie is going to be having issues.

easily one of my favorite series, and really love how it's going strong after the various setbacks.
Just listened to a very cool podcast, Tim talking about Hack/Slash and working in comics over at ifanboy, groovy stuff.
DROKK IT!!
Moore Collectibles back in the day put out some nice figures back in the late 90's and into the early 2000's such as their Buffy line, Witchblade line, and Darkness line. But then for the longest time they just started doing statues, which kind of sucked because statues are just too expensive.
But well it looks like they're back to making figures..
Alice Liddle from Grimm Fairytales
Why post this here? Based on the sculpt above I think someone should maybe pitch the idea to Moore to do H/S figures.
Yeah, Shocker Toys said eons ago that they were going to do it but Shocker Toys is moving at a snails pace and even if they do get a Cassie figure out, I'm pretty sure most of us will be 80.
Finally a good issue that I can say I liked.
Thought this issue was awesome. Loved seeing some of Vlad's family and I'm looking forward to getting more of their back story. Justin Jordan really got these characters down well. Loved the art as usual. This series is so much fun.

The issue didn't really gel very well with the last story arc for whatever reason, I mean Cassie seemed totally unphased with everything that happened to her on the island and Cat was just gone. But other than the fact it didn't gel with the last story arc, it was still a good start to a two parter and it got me thinking the scientist/doctor is actually working for the grandfather and that there is no cure and that both Cassie and Vlad will be going through physical and psychological changes in the near future.
But well.. Hack/Slash isn't a Marvel title so there's no generic formula.
In other words, anything can happen.
The scientist/doctor is Witch Doctor from Kirkman's Skybound imprint. He's a good guy in his series so I'm thinking that he's on the up and up. I agree that this issue didn't really gel with the previous arc but it felt like an old back to basics Hack/Slash issue to me.

I loved this issue, best since the first image series arc in my opinion.
As the previous poster said it felt like Hack Slash back to basics which is when it works best for me!
ULTIMATE COMICS ~ DC DARK ~ BUFFY/ANGEL ~ GREEN ARROW ~BATMAN/BATWOMAN ~ THE MASSIVE ~ PLUS LOTS OF IMAGE
I was reading Jeff's site and the lil q&a he did with Tim verified the Witch Doctor bit, so I'm totally taking my hunch back. And yeah, the issue was back to basics which was cool on one hand but weird on the other because the previous issue was such a big game changer but yet had no effect on the current issue. But like I said, if it had been Tim who wrote the current issue I'd see it as sloppy storytelling but since it was a guest writer, it makes sense since Tim would probably be the only one who knows what kind of effect all of what happened in the last issue will have on Cassie.
