I was actually sort of surprised to find out Cassie's still a virgin. She didn't strike me as a "wait for true love" kind of girl.

Especially if she's bisexual. :p

As far as Cassie's virginity..hey, she's the horror film final girl...virginity is kinda required! :)
We'll find the real reason for Cas' virginity in issue 3.

Hi Tim,

I'm a latecomer to Hack/Slash, started with the ongoing series and I'm really enjoying it. I've gone back and picked up the first trade so far, will get the second one soon. I do have one question, that might have been answered already in an earlier story or the second trade, what is Vlad's origin? It's mentioned in Issue 1 that Cass met him when she was after The Butcher? I think it was, and she thought he was responsible.

With the ongoing, will we be digging more into his past as well ?

You'll get some good ol' fashioned Vlad history in volume 2, Death by Sequel. But, yeah, more of his background will be explored around issues 10-12.

I change my mind on who should play Cas on a daily basis. I like both your choices, though, in a practical sense, they might be a tad old for Cassie. We'll probably need someone between 17-21. I dunno...pitch me some actresses, people. :D

My burning question has to do with Acid Washed's sort of place in the larger 'Slasher' phenomenon and their sort of "Faustian pact" origin. Is Acid Washed a unique type of Slasher? Or do they share common links with the other Slashers that Cassie and Vlad have tangled with?

Ah, Jonah, the place is always good and comfy. CBR is like my second home, except without the stash of porn I expect from where ever my lay my head.

As far as Acid Washed's "slasherness" they do indeed lie outsiode the standard "type" of slashers in this book. But, all the same, they're dicks, and should get good and killed, right?

funny you should mention my name actually tho, you see im an alternative online dj (id sooo play acid washed music), and a horror movie nut, with my sidekick the pet of perversion! (who aparently lives in my basement coz hes too scary to be let out durin the day!lol ) and during out shift at work last week we came up with a storyline for hack/slash ...because we have things in common with vlad and cassie we end up becomin evil fans of, and stalk them and they end up in a fight off ..freak angainst freak...kick ass chick against chick....crap, but kinda funny.

so if you eva run out of ideas, theres one for ya lol

were even dressin up for halloween as the duo :D i just hope we can sped the word around enough before then so ppl know who we are (ppl are a bit slow on the isle of wight lol)
