    Pretty much my pull list:

Young Avengers- I'm waiting for the tpb to arrive before I read the newest issues so not sure how great it is

Runaways- Awsome team/young person book and well, just awsome

Cable/Deadpool- Great comedy action buddy book

Exiles- Hope aboard with World Tour for some 80's nostagia or just jump on. Great Team/"what if"ish book. Plus all the back issues are in easy to get trades.

Daredevil- I really enjoyed BMB's run but since there's like 2 issues left I'd recomend waiting for the next writer to start

Nextwave- not an ongoing but a 12 issue mini by Warren Ellis with Machine Man, Monica "Photon/Pulsar" Rambaue (sp), Tabith "Boom Boom/Meltdown" Smith, Elsa Bloodstone and The Captain (?). Has an interesting premise and Ellis hasn't let me down yet.

Conan- okay, not Marvel bust still an awsome awsome book by Kurt Busiek, one of my all time favorite writers. Great stories, great gritty art and well, it's awsomely brutal.

Non-mutant team book- Add Runaways to this. And the Ultimates.
X-book- Ultimate X-Men is the only x-book worth reading.
Comedy title- Try out She-Hulk. Or wait til January for NEXTWAVE
Detective/Noir/Action title- Marvel doesn't have much in the way of detective books. Go check out DC's Gotham Central, or Image's Fell. There's also Daredevil, which fills out the noir/action requirement.
A-lister title- Try Captain America. Or maybe Friendly Neighboorhood Spider-Man once "the other" ends.

What exactly is a pull list, and why is it called that?

It is a list of certain comics that your comic shop pulls each month for you. Essentially I give them my list and every week they'd pull the comics that came in and when I arrived I get the books that came in.

A lot of retailers don't order a huge amount of any certain book, this causes smaller titles and really popular ones to sell out usually by the end of wednesday. A "pull list" is a "list" of books that you'd like your retailer to "pull" from the shelves and reserve for you. Kind of like an in-store subscription.

Usually, though, a "pull list" just refers to the books you regularly buy on any given week, whether or not you've reserved them.

If you really want a well-rounded pull list, why did you post this in the Marvel Universe forum?

I'm curious as to why you are only choosing Marvel titles.

Non-mutant team book- Filled with New and Young Avengers.
X-book- I've decided to start collecting different stories from different titles based on recommendation.
    Comedy title-?
    Detective/Noir/Action title-?
A-lister title- Guys like Spidey, Cap, Hulk, etc.etc.-?
And please add any title that doesn't fit these catagories that are good. But please just Marvel titles. Please help me out!
    I'd suggest either/both Powers & The Punisher.

Because it's a thread in the Marvel Comics Forum section maybe?

I'm expanding my pull list to twelve titles. Five from Marvel, five from DC, and two from elsewhere. That's why i've only asked for five titles here of different genres. I'm gonna post a similar thread in the DC forum.

I'm surprised at all the love for X-Factor, even though with Peter David writing I supose I shouldn't. I loved the original series, so I may give this one a shot.
I'm gonna pick up Cable/Deadpool:Burnt Offering TPB today if I get the chance. I've heard a lot of good things about it, both from here and the X-Men forums.
    Please, keep the recommendations coming!

    Non-mutant team book- New Avengers

X-book- Exiles, it's a fun team book which always offers something new and the cast is incredibly loveable.

    Comedy title- Cable/Deadpool

Detective/Noir/Action title- Not sure here, but I suppose Captain America, or possibly Iron Man if it wasnt running so damn late!!

A-lister title- I'd go with a Spidey title... after The Other

Well, I don't know how exactly to fit into your catagories, but I'll suggest some books that havn't been said yet, and try to fit them as best I can.

Marvel Team Up - This is a good non mutant team book, most of the time. It's classic super hero fun. It also often has Spider-man in it, so that covers a Spider-man book(for me anyway). For me, Kirkman writes the best Spidey.

And while we're talking Kirkman, he'll soon be taking over Ultimate X-men soon. I don't know how you feel about the Ultimate books, but Ult. X-men is the only X-book for me right now.

Continuing with Kirkman(I'm a broken record I know) but I'd feel like a jerk if I didn't recomend Invincible. I know you said only Marvel titles(it's Image), but Invincible is the best superhero book ever. Check out the recent Marvel Team Up 14 to see him and Spidey get into all sorts of shenanigans.

I'll also add another vote of confidence toward Captain America and Daredevil. Though Daredevil will be going through a creative team shift shortly, so both books will be written by Brubaker.

    Cable and Deadpool
is arguably the funniest book Marvel is putting out.
