That is why people are recommending these though, because they have creative teams with proven records. Hickman delivers. Remender brings it. You are never gonna have 100% guarantee that you will like a title, but w/o ever reading the book...books that havent even been released yet and wont until Octber....the only way to make such assessments is whether the talent is good and the characters are interesting. That is why these are being recommended.
i don't even know whose gonna fill hickman's big avengers roster.
Uncanny Avengers does sound interesting to me as it's the only announced title so far that isn't just a relaunch of a title that already existed nor is it one using a preexisting concept

I have a question about Dark Tower's comics, but I don't know where i Can post the question...
Why The Battle of Tull tpb is coming out next year, if there is not The Little Sisters of Eluria trade paperback?
Sisters of Eluria's issues came out before The Battle of Tull, so why![]()
I heard some good reviews of recent Spidey and Fantastic Four. Where would be good jump on point for these? And which Spidey series is considered best?
(I've read mostly independent and a couple DC titles.)
Thanks
Fantastic Four will get a new #1 in November so I'd just wait for that.
Amazing Spider-Man is the best Spidey series too me. Not sure where a good start for that would be. Maybe wait for 700.
This assumes you're looking to get monthlies and avoids back issues.
I've heard Venom and Scarlet Spider have been pretty good, while Avenging is more of an anthology title. Amazing really is just the main book. The current arc, No Turning Back, was said to be written with the intent of letting people who saw the movie jump into the book, although the story is about to end, so you might as well start with 692, as much as it pains me to recommend anyone start with something drawn by Ramos.
If you would like to read trades, the Big Time Ultimate Collection is the beginning of the current era. It contains a .1 issue that serves as a prologue to the Venom ongoing.
I'd wait for Marvel NOW if I were you.
Adults struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life when the answer is obvious to the smallest child: because it's not real. - Grant Morrison
Fantastic Four is currently winding down a three year, multiple title run by Jonathan Hickman. It won't really be new reader friendly until the "Marvel NOW!" relaunch in November, with a new creative team, although Hickman's run has been very good if you want to track down earlier issues.
Spider-Man is pretty accessible, by comparison. There should be a new storyline starting in #692, later this month.

I'm looking to start reading comics of the fantastic four.
I decided after watching the movies again (Not everyones cups of teas) but I enjoyed them both.
Where is the best place to start for a beginner? I don't know too much 'bout the team and can only get trades.
Thanks.
''How do you find someone who has spent a lifetime covering his tracks? For some, he was a guardian angel. To others, a ghost who never quite fit in''
Don't know about the best place but the issue 570 sure is a nice start.
And then up to 609.
You can look on amazon, simply type "Fantastic four" and "Hickman" and you sould have a complete list
