I saw! So random and out of the blue! I thought he was recovering from the spider thing. The reports say he died from liver failure. Is there any word on whether its due to complications for the bite, or is it unrelated? Tragic. RIP, Mr. Hanneman.

From What I've read early reports say it may be related. No word on if there's going to be an autopsy.
He's going to be missed. One of the best guitarists and songwriters ever.

Wow, did you guys see that the Westboro Baptist Church is going to protest Hanneman's funeral? I'm not even mad. I think they might have finally bitten off more than they can chew. Slayer's most dedicated fans can be...interesting. Besides, those guys are owed a comeuppance.

I really hope that doesn't happen, Slayer fans can be a lot like nitroglicerin (large reason why the last time I saw them was in 1987.). Slayer issued an official statement about Hanneman's death late Thursday including cause of death. I hope I can somehow attend the tribute.
