I'm a big fan of horror, sci-fi (especially Star Wars), and dark fantasy. I'm a big reader.

My current pull list is: The Walking Dead, Wolverine, Amazing-Spiderman, Death Dealer, Star Wars (all titles)

I want to get into more books but not a lot of them really strike my interest. I prefer books written for Mature Readers. I'm gonna collect all the trades of Preacher, The Sandman, and 30 Days of Night in the near future.

My suggestion? Just jump in. Don't be offended if it seems like your postings are ignored for a while. It's not personal, it just happens.

So get on out there and bring up your post count!

I lurked for several years before I finally dived in. For me, it was a matter of getting involved in one of the smaller forums (the late, lamented Crossgen forum), and branching out as people got to know me. Or rather, as I got to know people.

I came here to hide out until the statute of limitations kicked in on those trumped-up charges brought by an overzealous DA and corrupt police force.

I stayed because the desserts are to die for.

    They're overwhelming 9 months later.

But people tend not to drown even if it sometimes feels like it.

He's overcompensating for his feelings of being overwhelmed.

    ---

Welcome newcomers. I lurked around a few days to get the feel and flow of conversations before I started inserting comments here and there. It gave a chance to observe where the minefields were. Starting in one forum and branching out as you know more people is a good way to go.
