About Venoms Return

Since Eddie brock Venom is returning, now that Spiderman is better in all catigories because of his encounter with Morlun, do you think he will be able to fight Venom one on one eually with no help? That would be one hell of a fight,

well wouldnt the symbiot make him stronger then macgargons venom? venom was stronger the symbiot spidey, so maybe it continues down the path. if this is so then i think it would be a pretty even match. quick question regarding macgargon: how did he rid himself of the scorpion armor?

Scorpion was always able to remove his own armor, despite an error in continuity due to an issue of She-Hulk. There was also a point during the beginning of Spectacular Spider-Man where he though he could't remove his own armor, but Spider-Man beat him and pulled his mask off showing Gargan that it was all just inside his head.

The question is, who said Eddie Brock was coming back as Venom? He is appearing in a upcoming issue of Sensational Spider-Man but he does not have the suit. From panels that show him like this http://images.comicbookresources.com...038007_100.jpg, it seems it is in his imagination like an invisible demon. He might get the suit back. That would be cool, but until the issue comes out, nobody knows.

Im pretty certain he wont get the symbiote back..i think mac still has it throughout his T-bolts run so. As for eddie....i think he'll die when this arc is over because he hasn't got the symbiote keeping him alive anymore.

OOO~ Ive just thought...what if the symbiote did a stunt like in "what if? spider-man the other" where it merged with peter even though he was dead and brought him back to life as a result...maybe something similar could happen with eddie?

I just really think he will return. I hope he does to. I've only seen MacGargan Venom once and spiderman was wiping the floor with him so it was a bad showing.

They don't really have a choice man...after re-reading marvel knights last night eddie is asked how long he will survive without the symbiote being his life support (he has cancer for anyone who is thinking wtf..)

Eddie: "who knows? a couple days? a week? it doesnt really matter"

So for him to come back and NOT die...even after all this time seems a bit stupid..

also the story is called “THE LAST TEMPTATION OF EDDIE BROCK” which suggests to me he isn't going to be around much longer

I just posted this in the SSM #38 thread, but I think Eddie will overcome the temptation to kill May. I think Madame Webb will say something to him to give him peace for once in his life, and he'll end up apologizing to Peter. Once he's overcome his demons, I think he'll finally be able to give in to the cancer and die happy.

Nope. The symbiote increased Spider-Man's strength not one iota.

I think that means that he will be tempted to kill aunt may, and if he does, he will stay evil and will get the symbiote and whatnot. If he doesn't have the balls to, the symbiote will never want him so he dies.

I mean't all stats. Not just strength. I'm not sure if it made a small difference or a big one but it always made him more powerful. Swinging faster, aggression, speed, agileness, and everything else besides intelegence had been increased. Combine that with his spider sense and he's I think he is well above Venom. Of course, if he where fighting Venom and they both had the symbiote (impossible, but still), his Spider sense would be non-existant so it would be a better fight. But if they where both put against the same opponent at different times, I think Spidey would do a better, faster job.

Sean is right. The symbiote only shapeshifted into different clothes and made webbing. it never once made Peter stronger or enhanced anything. That was only made up in the cartoon. In fact , Symbiote Spider-Man was never even more aggressive. The suit loved him and loved his adventures fighting crime so much that it continued to do it in Peter's sleep. The only reason Peter ever got rid of it is was because he thought the idea that it was alive and wanted to bond with him was creepy and for lack of a better term, "icky".

If anything, the suit made Peter a little weaker, since he often woke up exhausted from his "sleep swinging".
