This time in an article in the August issue of Mother Jones.
The article is about the treatment of women in comics. It starts off discussing Stephanie's brief role as Robin and also mentions Babs' paralyzation and Supergirl's hemlines. The writer manages to sound like she actually has read a comic or two, although some details are off.
Gail gets a mention both as a fan, then for her website Women in Refrigerators and then as a creator that's helping correct the problem. Brian K. Vaughan and Matt Idelson also get positive mentions.
It closes with a mention of how Black Canary kicks ass while Gail is writing her.
I'm afraid that I don't remember any more details, but if you happen to see a copy (probably at an organic foods store or something), you might want to take a look.
I gotta admit that it's not the sort of magazine that I would've expected to mention comics so that's gotta be a good sign, right?
