Well, there was a tease that he might be going even farther than some of the X-Men are comfortable with. God, I love how Mike Carey handles the character. It's a refreshing change from Morrison and Whedon.

It would appear that Beast has become dark himself... Reaching into the dark side of his personality that is, with this act... But who can blame him. But like RL mentioned, I wonder what the lasting effects would be between him and his fellow X-Men. And also, what that means for the villains he was in cahoots with to help resolve the endangering problem.

Nothing particularly new or exciting this week, but nice to know the New X-Men will feature throughout the whole of the next arc in X-Men.

Too bad it'll be too early to reflect the revised line up at the end of Quest For Magik which means that like WWH:X-Men it doesn't really work continuity-wise...unless they bring the new members in a few issues into the arc, being able to say they were just off panel until then...
