Who do you think should be leading the New Xmen?

I think the most qualified person to be leading the new xmen is Surge, shes the perfect amount of compassion, bossy, and charisma.

Yeah definitely Surge. I mean she didn't seem that good in the beginning but I think she is somebody respects ( if Julian finally does after last issue).

Hellion is still a good leader. I chose him.

    Prodigy

I love the idea of a depowered former mutant leading an X-team. Plus, he has the respect of all the team, and is smart enough still to make a difference. He also has the fallability and humility now he's depowered that most classic leaders seem to have.

i think Surge is doing well. I could see Prodigy leading this team though too.

Either Surge or Prodigy could be good leaders right now. They have the right qualities.

Hellion and X-23 are both awful choices for different reasons.

Pixie! She could just let them be high on her dust all the time and we could have trippy drug adventures.

Surge cuz she has some great leadership qualities, plus she knows when to smack her teammates for being out of line :p

Agreed, Prodigy hasn't lost my attention despite being depowered. He's still a very smart and capable. He'd make a good leader in the same sense that a depowered Storm was.

Hellions too impetuous, Surge doesn't have the tactical skill. It would be unrealistic for Anole to suddenly step up over everyone.

So I went with Prodigy. He has tactical skills to rival Cyclops, as shown in Academy X (like the hedge maze challenge) and has been instrumental still under C&C, against Stryker and Nimrod.

I voted for Surge. I'm waiting for an arc about her so that we can see her more in the leadership role. I almost voted for Hellion, but then I changed my mind. Though I love my girl X-23, I could never see that girl in the role of a leader. She is a loner and is used to doing things solo. I don't think she could handle being in control over a large. And for some reason, I don't like David as team leader right now, and it has nothing to do with him not having any powers.

Surge! She's a great leader. Hellion could work too, I guess. He's always cared for his team mates.

The obvious choices are either Surge, Hellion, or Prodigy. I went with Prodigy, simply because he is the best. Period. Surge has done well, and she has the rash Rogue-style attitude, but shes just not as smart or tactical as David. Hellion is also an excellent leader, and the kids definitely respect him, but he can let certain things get to his head. Prodigy always keeps it together, no matter what.

He keeps it together, he's a tactical genius, he's a normal genius, and he already has the respect of every student in the school. He's the best for the job. Hands down.
