I just read the first two stories of the trade yesterday, and it was great! Kirkman makes comics that are really fun, and this was no exception. Moore and Rathburn were excellent choices for artists, I hope we get more Brit stories someday.

Brit is a one-man, unstoppable killing machine... and eligible for a senior citizen’s discount. He’s been this country’s last line of defense for almost a century--but after he inadvertently caused the death of his ex-wife and her son, he quit. Now SOMETHING has drawn him out of retirement. Look out, evil – BRIT IS BACK!
I'm certainly looking forward to this series. My only concern is that I'm not at all familiar with the writer.
Just picked up the #1 issue. Even as someone who never really got into Invincible I found this book to be a treat. Funny, funny stuff. A review has been posted over there.
Brit is one title I have been meaning to look into. I will have to, since the new series is coming out. ;)
