10 Reasons Why You Should Love Kelly & Seagle's X-Men run

Awesome lineups! I keep hearing variations of what teams they intended to have (some have it as Sabra instead of Shadowcat or Gambit instead of Nightcrawler, etc.), but the ones jarrod posted are flawless!!! Out of both lineups, the only character I kindasorta don't like is Kitty, and I can even appreciate her under the right circumstances/writer.

From my understanding, K&S hated Gambit... indeed his inclusion being forced on them following HFX was one of the factors behind them quitting. Also, it was Lobdell who wanted Sabra to become an X-Man following OZT... I'm guessing K&S didn't want her considering they ditched her immediately.

K&S were getting the ex-Excalibur trio forced on them too, though I believe they actually wanted them anyway. I think Kitty would've been great on Kelly's team though, especially given the inevitable confrontations between her and Marrow (which Davis later cheaply skirted imo). I've also always really wanted to see Sam and Kitty on the same team for some reason...

That's what I thought, there are just so many different supposedly intended lineups. I think my love their lineups is really what solidified them as one of my most favorite runs--no one really made me grind my teeth (exaggeration of course). I just loved their taste in everything.

The Excalibur trio's entrance definitely felt...out of place to me. It felt rather abrupt and my enjoyment definitely declined afterwards.

i miss pacheco on the x-books.

what was marrow supposed to be eating in that breakfast scene? it looks like the label says "banderas own". i know the rest of them are eating waffles.
