The only thing I liked about that run was the All New X-Men with the fake characters created by Cerebro. I wish Marvel would really gotten behind this concept and these guys would have replaced the X-Men for real. My favorites were Grey King(sort of mix between Jean grey and Magneto), Rapture(Archangel and Mystique) and Landslide(original Beast with big feet and Sabretooth).

Oh Faded. This thread is a beautiful thing.

Kelly's first issue, empty mansion, new X-men. Cece

    oh Cece oh Faded....

    I'm in fanboy heaven.

Finding out that the All New X-men were basically artificial constructs sucked balls though.

Still, it was a better story than 'Danger'. Actually, I'm noticing something. Danger/ Cerebro; the 'cure' issue

what could have been... i guess.

are they writing anything now? dc stuff?
    and i'm counting 1, counting 2, counting 3...

Which one of them did the story about the crows again?

Because that was just a god awful story and I didn't like that guy's run that much.

I had just got into comics right before OZT, and I was happily still reading during the Kelly and Seagle runs. I LOVED it! Pretty art by Carlos Pacecho and German Garcia and Chris Bachalo was a plus. And we had the magnificient Cecilia Reyes, along with that great Sauron story that had Jubes in it. PLUS we had Alpha Flight v.2 appear in the book- my faves!! And I hearted the Alaska/Original 5 story- LOVES the crows!

I actually stopped reading right after these runs ended. I think my final issue for a LONG time was the conclusion to the "Hunt For Xavier" storyline. My Stop&Shop where I bought stopped getting comics, so unfortunately the good times stopped for yours truly. However, good mems!!

I was kind of on-and-off buying X-Men throughout the 90's- but Seagle & Kelly are the ones who brought me back full time. The only complaint i'd have with their run is that it didn't last long enough.
Look out! It's my DeviantART page!

I loved how Seagle first introduced a Rogue with bone claws, plus her one-woman mutant team thing during Search for Xavier.

That was Seagle's run. I liked his run a whole lot less than Kelly's, but I still think it was a pretty cool run with some superb issues mixed in there.

I LOVED it when Alpha Flight cameoed! That was my first exposure to them and it made a great impression! I never did pick up the actual series until years later though.

I kinda wish I could tell them to get over it and keep writing, but by the time the mansion was restored and the Excalibur Mutant Trinity replaced the "new" X-Men, the excitement definitely wore off. I really wish they could've followed up on Juggernaut taking legal action and keeping the mansion.

I loved Daredevil in his tighy whities.

I liked when Jean blew the snow away and it made a phoenix shape. hot. I hated the plane issue though with that thing in the box.

Best part about the whole thing is the Angel/Marrow issue! B-E-YOU-TIFUL Pacheco art, wonderful dialogue by Kelly, and I also loved Seagle's run. The Alpha Flight crossover, the engourgeous art by Bachalo, the return of the AMAZING Phoenix costume! Lol, the chip scene, priceless:p!

FADED!!! SCAN THE ANGEL MARROW ISSUE PLEASE!!!!
