Maybe the better is question is how many folks wish she was NOT in Uncanny Avengers? I am getting a feeling most Rogue fans are not buying UA. After Wood's X-Men #1 came out there were so many love letters saying how Rogue has returned and we missed her etc. But she has been in UA for a while. LOL!

I read Uncanny Avengers as well. And I'm pretty sure she's gaining new fans from this title.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: IMO Rogue permanently absorbing someone just to gain enhancement is an extremely lazy and unimaginative way for her to "Bulk up". It should be done as a result of Rogue power coming into it's Mature Form and being able to tap into the power that is within her (No single power recall, just all the DNA Rogue has collected pooled together as a single power source for super strength, invulnerability and flight.) or Rogue goes through the Binary process to bring out the Kree gene enhancement. ( If she still has that.)

She's just have to learn how to use their use templates absorbed in the past.

Does not have to permanently absorb anyone else, the power we know who has it, Rogue only have to learn to use it.

As for Rogue not being in the 50th...that sort of hurts. Comics is a little like pro wrestling, you can only push so many characters, but it still hurts when a character you really like doesn't get the spotlight that you want. :P

So I'm still wondering, what are Rogue's powers now, was she going to be able to handle a pistol packin Domino barehanded?

I'm hoping it will be explained that she somehow has some permanent strength and flight and not just absorption,

otherwise this is the kind of contrived scenario that I've seen too often with Rogue as of late.

Someone (Colossus in this case) just happens to fall out of the sky so that Rogue conveniently has someone to absorb.

Exactly my point, he just happens to land where Rogue can absorb him. She shouldn't have to depend on random acts of convenience, she should be self-sufficient.

Rogue has done it multiple times,going back to UXM#179..

So it's Rogue Wednesday. Rogue is in Cable and X-force along with Uncanny Avengers this week. I will not be here today so hopefully another with spoil. I have read UA and all I will say is this was the first issue I HATED. That was NOT any Rogue I know. So bad.
