Still looking very promising! I loved them as a kid.
I didn't realize Rouleau and those other creators were involved with Ben-10. I've yet to see it but my kid loves the show.

Nice preview interview of this new mini-series.
I don't know a lot of about the group, but I'm willing to learn about them in this new mini series. :D
I still find the art off putting , but what do I know? I'm a phillistine;) After reading the article I'm not sure I'm going to like the writing any better. He wants to reimagine them? Taking them back to their roots seems like a fine idea but reimagine?? I'm still not over the "reimagining" from their last mini. And please DC, don't let this guy near The Demon!

I'm probably still getting this, but too things have me puzzled? First, the reimagining and really having nothing to do with 52. Mainly, the only thing I want from 52 is the well written Doc Magnus, but the writer says its not really gonna be much like that. I really came to love Doc Magnus, but this seems to be playing Magnus just as goofy as The Metalmen. But, hey, I'm still giving it a chance.
The art looks good, but certainly different from Mr Zircher, are you ever gonna do any DC work?

Based on the solicits and this interview, I'm eagerly anticipating this series. And I can't wait for the Metal Men showcase edition. That's definitely on my list too.
I'm fine with a change between 52 and this series. In the end, I think every series has to stand on its own. I'd rather Rouleau write the Dr. Magnus he wants and have that succeed or fail on its own merits rather than following continuity to the letter. Although I must admit that the Magnus/T.O. Morrow relationship in 52 was intriguing and I'd like to see more of it. Maybe Rouleau will see fit to play with that dynamic just a little bit, seeing as how he says he's going to have T.O. Morrow in the book.

I'm on board with this! It sounds like Duncan intends to keep some of Magnus's instability from 52 but not have him go over the edge. As much as I loved Magnus's depiction in 52 it really seemed a bit either/or -- I mean either he was on his medication and unable to be creative enough to rework the Metal Men or he was off his medication and creative as all get out but a little dangerously unstable. I could see where that would be tough to pull off in the long run.
Also, I'm not as worried about THIS "reimagining" since it sounds like Duncan wants to keep most of the original roots for it... and dump the last "reimaining". I know a lot of fans who will be happy just with the fact that the Metal Men go back to being robots with Responsometers rather than being human souls trapped in robotic bodies.
Most of all, it sounds like he wants to put the FUN back into the title and I'm all about the FUN!

The more I learn the more I realize how little I know.
I've seen lots of Rouleau art for a while now, but I don't think I've ever seen anything he's written.
Can anyone give me any info on his writing skills?
