Draw Me An Avenger: Thor

Over the next week, month, year, etc. please post original artwork depicting the Son of Odin in any of his incarnations!

This art can be new or old and in any medium. If it's an old piece please indicate approximately when it was created. And please feel free to comment on others' work, BUT remember, this isn't art class and all posters are encouraged to participate regardless of talent. Unless specifically asked for negative comments are not appreciated and will be deleted. So have fun and take your time!

Hmmmm first person to try a THOR pic??? thought there would be loads by now...ok here's mine..i'm actually quite pleased with this the basic coloured in version was good but i think i did quite well with the background...shame i cant draw lightning though.....

Thanks Mikl, can always rely on you for a comment on a pic, yeah would love to have had GOOD lightning in the pic (thats a very obvious hint for anyone who reads this who thinks they can add lightning to this pic)

Hope more people decide to take on the thunder god especially as he has a new series coming up.

As some may already know, I'm more partial to drawing Thor's equine-headed friend. However, I do occasionally color in stuff from a few folks over at another board.

This is the more recent one:

The original art was/is done by a lovely gentleman by the name of Adey (who apparently has just now joined us on this esteemed forum), initially was a pencil sketch and I pretty much painted over it in Photoshop.

Maybe later on I'll do some of my own stuff that's worth sharing!

Oh man. I actually don't have very many drawings of Thor, if none at all.

SO HERE'S SOME OTHER FORUM INJOKES.

This was the result of someone misspelling Pluto as 'Plato'. As in, Plato the Philosopher, not the clothing store. Oh man, I just about cried laughing while coloring this. I'd like to redo it someday though, but it may have lost its impact now that archives at comic boards are boned.

Someone asked what a Red Thor would be like after Hulk #5 came out. Sadly, this suggestion was ignored. Emo tear.
