    And 20th Century Fox and the Franklin Mint have some 'splainin to do.

    The coin? Yeah, they forgot to ask the US Mint about it. Turns out turning US coins into advertising tools is illegal.

    The US Mint says it was illegal for 20th Century Fox and the Franklin mint to modify 40,000 US quarters with the Silver Surfer's image and website URL.
