    Last Resort was a really interesting premise, but from the episodes I caught it just seemed really badly executed. 666 Park just seemed really bad from what little I saw.

    Discovery did indeed cancel Dirty Jobs.

    As for the endings of Last Resort and 666 Park Avenue, it looks like they'll get some sort of actual ending: http://blastr.com/2012/11/looks-like-2-dead-sci-fi.php

    Dirty Jobs was one of those shows I always watched when there was nothing else on. I was literally just about to start a serious watch-through of the show this week!

    Starz did cancel it...announcement was made on DHD last week

    I was always surprised this went away, it seems like something that was successful(even though I was not a fan of it).
