Im hearing that Whitney has been renewed for a full season. WTF NBC??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well after cutting other good shows down to short final seasons they have to put something on the air.
NBC's always had a tendency to give far more leeway to their favorite creators than most networks. Sometimes that works out well for viewers. Sometimes it works out very very poorly.

Problem I see these days is ether we have stupid sitcoms or dramatic shows that are overly in their drama and bleakness. Finder was a show that wasn't a sitcom, you can enjoy watching it without it being too heavy like a modern day Magnum PI. It seems like these type of shows have trouble grabbing an audience these days. The other show with Mark Valley had the same misfortune. Unfortunetly it's the type of shows I want to watch. Castle is similar but it's too much about the guy-girl dynamic and "will they or not"? Also Finder gave Geoff Stults finally his own show for the first time.

Only 30 Rock is getting a final season order, Community may be a mid season replacement. Based on the shows NBC has picked up so far I don't see to many sitcom hits so I would be fairly confident that provided they resign Harmon Community will go #6 seasons and a movie.

Isn't NBC in last place among the networks by a large margin?
