Page automatically refreshes while typing a reply

This is incredibly annoying: when I'm composing a reply, if I leave the reply window (still open in another Firefox tab) and go to get a URL to create a link with for another site (or check a fact or whatever), and then flip back to my post a reply tab, the damned page refreshes and wipes out what I was typing. It has been like this for a while now (since the last upgrade, I guess) and I've just put up with it, often copying my reply before I leave the window (except that it doesn't copy urls or code, just the text). If there's some way to stop this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I just did some testing and I have a feeling it might be one of the banner ads triggering this. I will pay more attention and see if I can associate the phenomenon with anything specific.
