So . . . I guess rebuilding the Corps is part of CONQUEST.
Cool.

Whoa. Maybe Rich is giving up some of the Nova force sooner than we thought?
The road to truth is long, and lined the entire way with annoying bastards. ~ Alexander Jablokov
Isn't Nova #5 an Annihilation: Conquest tie-in? Could it have something to do with that? If the villain is Kang, for example, it could be a Nova from another timeline/era.
Peace.
I'm bewildered and flabbergasted by it's awesomeness.
Nova is rocketing up my top 5 Marvel comicbook list with no signs of slowing down.![]()
Amazing Spider-Man, Future Foundation, Captain America, The Invincible Iron Man, The Mighty Thor, The New Avengers, The Avengers, Batman Inc., Detective Comics, Green Lantern
Going by issue 2's cover and its near complete lack of connection to the actual story, I'm guessing Richard gets a new Kree girlfriend...
Hopefully this won't be a repeat of what happened to Quasar in the first Annihilation.
Gamora is suppossed to have green skin and black hair though. With the blue skin and white hair, it definately seems like a Kree.
That said, I do think Gamora and some of his previous Annihilation allies might be a good starting place if he wants to start distributing some of his power. Some can't be completely trusted (like Super Skrull or Ronan), but there are certainly a few who have already established themselves as trustworthy enough heroes.
Most already have powers though, so it would probably be redundent.
hmm, looks alright.
and i'm counting 1, counting 2, counting 3...
Yep.
I'm hoping it's not her, though.
EDIT: Although I do like Baltho's idea. An alternate universe where something happened to Rich and Nita became Nova . . . that could be interesting. It'd be a bit too close to "Green Lantern: Ring of Fire," but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Yeah. And she certainly has history with Nova. I suppose she's a possibility, desptie the fact that she's dead (cause really, that doesn't mean a whole lot in this day and age).
Given that Namorita has shown a tendecy of getting blown up, I think she'd make a perfect candidate for the Corps.
