    Default Favorite Jean Grey costume?

Given the Cyclops thread I thought I'd do one on Jean as well :)

Once again, this link will be handy:

    http://www.uncannyxmen.net/db/spotli...uto=61&page=10

The original with the cap-Wore this 'training' outfit for most of the early 60s

The original with the mask-Given a face mask that shows off more of her hair a few issues on.

The green/yellow Neal Adams era outfit-The first real 'superhero' outfit, Jean would use this color scheme on several of her later outfits.

The Pheonix outfit-When the Pheonix copied her she adapted this outfit.

Dark Pheonix outfit-The red/gold scheme of the corrupted pheonix. Interestingly Jean would later reuse this color scheme on some later outfits.

X-factor green and yellow look-With the big 'X" using Jean's traditional 'hero' colors.

X-factor Green red/yellow look-Pretty much the same as above but using "Dark pheonix" colors.

The Jim Lee most of the 90's look-The Jim Lee look pretty much became the norm for most of the 90's

The Morrison outfit-Jean's outfit during the Morrison era. She also often switched the T-shirt for one showing a Pheonix pattern.

    Others-Ultimate, movie etc. go here.

The last X-factor one. It's an amazing costume, too bad it lasted so little. It's number 11.

It's not on the options to vote...

I liked the Phoenix outfit around the time of the 2000 team shuffle. It doesn't look like a costume related to the Phoenix Force and sort of merges the Phoenix symbol with Lee's design, while changing the color scheme. (Yay, red!)

It might be kinda unfair, but I'm basing my entire vote on the card that Art Adams did of Jean Grey for the Marvel Series 2 cards in 1991, using the red/yellow X-Factor costume.

Loved the look. Reall cool art too. :D

Jean Grey's Marvel Girl is a very different character than Phoenix. Phoenix is more wilder & loves using her powers. Therefore, several on the list seems invalid because these are times when Jean Grey is Marvel Girl such as during the original X-Men, X-Factor, & even when Jean Grey rejoined the X-Men in X-Men #1 (1991); in fact, Jean did not have another alias for several years until she took the name Phoenix in 1994 in The Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix #4. It is several more years before Jean Grey manifests the Phoenix Effect associated with Rachel Summers & the original Phoenix.

Oops, well I was just quoting the poll option, but I still love that outfit. Who was it designed by?

I'm just going to assume Kirby solely based on that cover.

According to Endsong and Morrison's New X-Men, Phoenix was Jean, and Jean was Phoenix.

The white Phoenix costume, followed by the classic green Phoenix one.
