7.THOR-I was always lukewarm to this guy until I read Roy Thomas' EXCELLENT "Celestial Saga" After his departure along came Walt Simonson whose stories were also excellent but I still wasn't quite convinced that I loved the character or the journey-men talent. When I read the Lee\Kirby classics and got into the character's "beginnings" and his world--I became a FAN-4-LIFE!
8.WOVERINE
9. STORM-for a long time she was the second greatest X-"Man" ever (IMO) and a very cool character. Don't know
what they're doing with her these days. I haven't seen her in ANY AVX promos which gives me some indication--pathetic.

1. THE GREEN GOBLIN (Norman Osborn, the only REAL Goblin)
2. DOCTOR DOOM- Over-exposure doesn't seem to hurt him--now THAT'S cool!
3. GALACTUS\DORMAMMU (tie)-ULTRA POWERFUL baddies who are GREAT whenever well-written. One is based on science the other on mysticism
4. DARK PHOENIX (The coolest villain who should have stayed dead!)
