I have said it before and I'll say it again... its good to see some heroes without so much angst in their lives, ya sure they have problems but there not walking around hating themselves like alot are nowadays. This is the funnest book on the market right now.

Remember how the king lizard guy talked about how smart he was to stay hidden until the end of the fight? I believe that was a foreshadowing of Kate keeping one of her bodies "in reserve" and hiding out as well. Before he can kill Rex, Kate bounces out of hiding and proves she is smarter by staying hidden even longer. She takes care of the the lizard guy and is touched/impressed with Rex's selflessness in that fight. Ray climbs out of the exploded neck of the superstrong lizard, having been swallowed but not chewed or killed, possibly ruining a touching moment between Rex and Kate. This sets the stage for more interpersonal drama in future issues since Kate is suddenly interested in Rex again and not her husband The Immortal. Ta-daa!
