    Default Ultimate Panther

Has anyone seen anything about T'Challa being ultimatized? I was reading through my early Ultimate Spider-Man TPBs and in the third one the woman that was running with Kraven was called a Wakadian. I know the spelling is wrong but that's somewhat how Kraven's agent said it. If he is ultimatized I hope they call him simply Panther and remove the 70s "Black" addition from the name. I imagine that when he is finally introduced, he will be fighting Captain America.

Outside the Ultimate Avengers 2 movie it doesn't seem like they got arounf to him. I guess the movie was a good push for the Marvel 616 series, but it would make sense for it to have tied in to a Ultimate BP series or arc in an Ultimate Storyline.

I'm guessing he'll be introduced in the UFF as opposed to the Ultimates, since the Ultimates don't look like they'll be out again any time soon.

As long as he doesn't morph to have a Panther head I'm cool.

I think it'd be funny if they made Ultimate Black Panther white.

    Now that'd be... I don't know.

For someone who doesn't mind an african american Nick Fury and loves the idea of a gay Colossus, I can't say anything without saying anything hypocritical :p

The reaction alone would be worh it.

Them: "HOW DARE THEY MAKE HIM WHITE!!!"
Me: "So it was wrong to make Nick Fury black?"
    Them: "That's 100% different,"

    *me on floor laughing*

That's exactly the type of dialogue I though would have ensued had I complained. I wouldn't have yelled, but still :p

"So why is black widow on the team?

    "because she's a woman"

but it be interesting if trhey made him white, but i dont think it be a big part of his character. I dotn think he'd be royalty moreso, but more of a afrikaner freedom fighter of sorts. I'm thinking it wont happen though............

I think he's too much of an icon to do that.

The changes that were made to the Ultimate Universe was meant to diversify it a bit. Making T'Challa white doesn't further diversify the universe.

Nick Fury was'nt made black to make the universe diverse he was made black because when fury was orginally made he was based on Dean martin of the rat pack when Hitch went to draw him he realized that Dean Martin was'nt exactly the epitome of cool anymore so he simply made Fury akin to the coolest person he knew and that was Samual L Jackson. Thus why Fury looks like SLJ

The changes to the ultimate universe were meant do make it different from the 616. So Panther beeing a white man would be a great idea.
