Is it true that Immonen will be taking over for Bagley?

Yep Ultimate Knights is his last arc though the issue afterwards will be a half and half issue with one half by bagely and the other by Immonen in a "passing the torch" so to speak.

Well, Stuart Immonen is one of the most versatile artists working today; here's just a sample of his various styles:









We have yet to see what his work on Ultimate Spider-Man will look like, but I couldn't be more excited.

Bendis said that the Nextwave team will be working on Ultimate Spider-Man so it'll be awesome to see Dave McCaig and Stuart back together.

i never liked his art on UXM but i always thought he would be good for taking over ult. spidey. needless to say i cant wait for his run to start

Not entirely comfortable with the switch seeing his art. Its not bad, but I like the current art. Ah well, hopefully it'll be sweet.

I love Bagely's art. It's great. But honestly I'm not all that into his character faces. I think an art change is necessary at this point.

That said I'll be eagerly awaiting to see Immonen on this title.

I remember seeing Immonen's stuff on an older FF arc (the Gideon trust one) and thinking "this stuff sucks!". But after seeing all the work he's done recently, I think he's really improved.

I'm concerned about this. I think Immonen's previous work on Nextwave and Ult-X is childlike and cutesy. I really hope that's not the style he brings to Ult-Spidey.

Yeah, because Bagley's art is so realistic and mature?



Okay, so that's a fairly poor example of Bagley's stuff (Because I tend to really like his work), but your definition of what's "childlike and cutesy" seems pretty skewed.
