Casanova - What happened?

I was looking through the Image solicitations and, unless I missed it (possible), I didn't see any issues of Casanova solicited for April, May, or June.

Did it get cancelled? Is it just one of those deals where we only get a few issues a year? Did the creative team get pulled away for some other project? Is someone else publishing it now?

Does anyone know?

In the last issue (#7), they said there was going to be a little hiatus between story arcs. If I recall, it should pick back up in the fall, but there was no firm date set yet.

Correct. There will be a small break between each album (arc) of Casanova.

Should be back out in fall.

Did the first trade paperback actually come out in March (that's what Amazon says)? I don't recall seeing it at my LCS.

Thanks for the answers. I'm VERY happy this title didn't get cancelled. I felt, for a number of years that Grant Morrison was the only writer around who could regularly deliver amphetamine-paced, mind-blowing comics, but lately the term "regularly" doesn't seem so appropriate.

I'm glad that titles like Casanova and Godland are around to keep me happy inbetween, feeding my fix for ultra-wild, uber-intensive, brain-stretching hilarity and adventure.

Definitely his best work. Ba's art gets bettwer with each issue too.

Nope. Backmatter is never going to be in the trades. Not on Casanova or FELL.

Though, the Casanova trade will have backmatter by Gabriel Ba' instead. Incentive to get both.:D

I prefer the trade, and now I can loan the singles out to friends and show them the greatness that is Casanova!

Also, Gabriel and his brother Fabio are both contributing the the second volume of the 24seven anthology!
