Thanks Middenway! I know right?!
I saw it saturday and left. I got to our room and I was nervous somebody's gonna get it and I will regret leaving it, ruining my eccc trip.
Bee lined for it when I got back the next day.

Hey congrats Lefthook! Great to hear 'Crook Abe-Incarnate' went to an actual fan! So it was raffled off or lotteried pretty much?
Like the other loot as well, the print with Adam and Eve (Incarnate) as seeming so cool about themselves, like they'd be just laughing it off, with going "oh now, you snakey snakey..."
And the Hellboy piece seeming lush and stylistically nifty like uncannily. Cool style that artist has, I'd be to think.
So.
Chillingly good stuff besides Mignola, Slint, M, Knut and really big chunks of tinfoil?Been called a 'good egg'. Been told to rock, been told to steady myself. Been told to (please) be goin' places.
Half sunk in the mud, with one eye showing / a cracked smile and hair still growing /
your hands miles apart, as if they'd never met / you were the happiest I'd seen you yet. ~ (full) lyrics to 'Exhume' by Bedhead.
Hi Kees!
It was just inside a sleeve in one of his portfolios.
I was so nervous thinking I wasn't going to get it that I almost missed out on another piece of his.
To top it off, he cut me a deal on both and it certainly was gravy to my trip.
Thanks!
Love the Crook Abe piece! Very, very nice!
Does anyone who attended ECCC and swung by Mike's table have a report on the original art he had for sale? I've not seen a single piece show up to flaunt on comicartfans or to sell on eBay. Curious as I know the Mignola's were going to bring some along. Unfortunately I didn't get to attend the show, but wish I had. Love any opportunity I can get to see Mike's originals in person, even if it IS just to window shop.
Oh man, Mike's art was a sight to behold. I felt he had the slimmest portfolio amongst everyone but it was the greatest in my opinion. Hellboy in Hell covers, pages, Abe sapien cover. Total eye candy. All I was able to blurt out was someday.
Alright, finally, here are my hauls over the last few months.
I've been wanting this poster for a long time. The wait paid off as I got one signed by Del Toro, Mignola, and Perlman!
Had to pay a pretty penny for this but, with an edition of only 50, it was worth it to me.
Got this little guy for $6 dlvd on eBay.
And last, but definitely not least, a collectible I am SO glad to cross off of my want list: the Eric So Hellboy!!!
