Chamber and Husk - Do They Belong Together?

Husk belongs with Chamber. When she started dating Angel, she just became such an unlikable character.

Got kind of annoying after a while, and Husk just got worst once she moved on to her next guy.

Husk should have realized that Chamber needed space and time.

I mean, why can't girls realize that dudes don't want things getting (and I quote DJ (r.i.p) on this) "serious too fast, too soon." ? :p

Their chemistry was great, but Jono just has too much anger. Husk is too soft for him. He needs a woman who can match him in the anger department and then he'll be set.

Like Lady M. Jono-Regan sounds good to me. :)

Or Martinique Jason too. They're both hot.

Jono has *a lot* of issues to work through before he can have a serious relationship. Too obsessed with looks right now (and I love him for it, bless him).

Jono-Husk never really got that far anyway, both of them backed off whenever the other came too close.

Paige-Angel: Yeah uhm... I'm seeing a girl who lost her father while young and is looking for a replacement. Not exactly the basis for a healthy relationship, but they can work it out.

I have to say, I wasn't particularly fond of them as a couple. They just seem like polar opposites of each other, and I really didn't see them having much common ground. I'd still take Husk and Chamber over Husk and Archangel any day.

They were good together during their tenure in GenX, but I don't think it could ever go back to the way it was. Chamber has changed too much that I don't see Husk dealing with it in a positive way. I do hope to see them get on better though.

I love both characters, and I hope that good writers get ahold of each one and build them into strong, complex characters who will rise far above the places they are currently in. As a longtime fan of Gen X, seeing them become major players would thrill me.

But should they be a couple again? Please no. That would be like me getting back with my high school ex. There was baggage then, and there is no reason to think there wouldn't be baggage now.

Part of me says no- that being with an older guy, Paige has experienced more with Angel than she has with Warren, and it might be awkward going backwards....

but then i was thinking about it- and there are some interesting paralells between Angel and Jono, both having connections, and life changes due to Apocalypse. Paige might be just what he needs, what Warren didn't have- to move past this kind of trauma. There's a lot of room for character development there, if a writer felt like doing that sort of thing.

i loved this relationship in Gen Next, but in 616 it got played out. I voted no.

no, no, no....chamber has enough issues, especially after Weapon X....time, space...but you never know what the future will bring!

I wanted them back together for a long time but now things have changed so much...

the thing is other than Monet we don't know how things stand right now with Jono, Paige & Jubes... what's their mental state since we last saw them? they've gone thru so much: Jubes losing her powers, abandoned by the X-men & handed over to Shield, Husk losing her brother, Chamber being made over by a crazy Apoc cult & now joining NW's for who knows why...& then there's Banshee's death.

We'll find out soon as all 3 will soon be reintroduced into the books this year ...how cool is that? & then add Penance in Loners, 2007 is gonna be a great year for Gen X fans! I just hope the writers dont screw it up...

now if we're talking about the past, I liked Jono/Paige, but I still think Jono/Jubes would have been cute...:o
