    Default Black Panther #26 *Spoilers*

Surprised no thread yet. This was a decent issue and not much focus on issues of race rather more focus on issues of politics. The F.F. seem characterized okay. My biggest complaint is Storm is coming off as an air head. I dont know if Hudlin is doing this on purpose making her come off dumb and incompetent so that the main star looks better in the book, or he just doesnt get the character of Storm. Also Wakanda is somehow now on the coast of Africa rather than inland. Cool appearance by Brother Voodoo here. Also alien bugs attacking the negative zone prison maybe a nod to Annihilation. Some good interplay between Tony Stark and Maria Hill.

Continuity error on page one since the Negative Zone Prison was built years, not weeks, ago.

It's okay but I'm confused as to why a totally different exchange plays out upon their initial meeting to that in FF543-544. Also, I have to say... Ben is a bit "off" to me, even in his few appearances. And Reed an Panther are way too pally for my tastes in both this AND FF...

I enjoyed this issue as it was. The bugs had me dying and I think it's about time Hudlin lightened up. FF I havnt read fully yet but i want to see if it carries over from this issue.

It's a bit unexplained how the bugs were so tiny, getting stood on by the 42 guards, then are up to human size when they overrun 42?

I don't know why Maria Hill isn't allowed to blow BP out of the sky, when it looks like the USA task force is going to invade Wakanda, anyway? Seems like a good ploy to take out the leader of the counrty, if he's within arms reach.

Though I agree Ororo is a little overawed by politics, the other female, Sue Richards, doesn't look right with Portela's art. And Ororo and Panther being over-eager to take Reeds offer of the FF building, smacks of desperation, considering Panther was defeated in CW.

I'm a bit intrigued the State Dept wants to take down Reed Richards for giving the Panthers aid. How is that going to work? Treat the FF like they did after the Latverian invasion?

I liked the issue. Though, the rotating artist thing has me a bit annoyed. There have been several talented artists on the book over the past many issues, but they never stick. I was hoping the artist from last issue would hang around (sorry, cant remember his name....something To I believe). The artist from this issue was decent as well, so its not a lack of quality thats bugging me, its a lack of consistancy.

Has anybody heard if they're planning on giving BP a regular artist anytime soon?
