Alex was forced to join the X-Men after he learned of "Plan Omega." Ironically, he believed Lorna Dane would be safer alone at home, but she ended up being possessed by Malice.

You need to reread Uncanny X-Men #219: Mister Sinister had Malice possess Dazzler first to see if she could handle the X-Men; likewise, Malice's possession of Dazzler served as primer for her real target, Lorna Dane. Mister Sinister always intended for Polaris to lead the Marauders...

*sigh* The whole point of Malice was to split Alex and Lorna apart, because Claremont didn't want Lorna on the team, and to give Alex a reason to stay on the team. I'm very aware of what happened in that issue, thank you. When Lorna was finally no longer possessed by Malice he had her magnetic powers stolen by Zaladane, shorty after he butched her out (like he's currently done to Dazzler, how ironic), and finally he had her be the nexus or whatever for the Shadow King. If that's not crapping all over a character I don't know what is.

I felt that Scalphunter was definitely the most deadly and the most interesting. .

I agree about scalphunter. He always seemed very cool and very much a bad ass to me

I also liked sabertooth and vertigo.

Many of the others i never really liked. Maybe that wil change after the upcoming events

Harpoon had the coolest real name; Kodiak Noatak. but i still give it to Scalphunter. the guy's a 6'6 native american in a costume made of gun parts & the audacity to call himself something like 'scalphunter.' i'm guessing that he didn't get along with his family too well.

Lorna Dane & Alex Summers--in their choice to not be full time X-Men--left themselves open to be exploited by the X-Men's enemies such as Mesmero, the Living Pharaoh (aka the Living Monolith), Davaan Shakari, Mister Sinister, Genoshan Magistrates, etc al.

Lorna Dane & Alex Summers very muich have their own personalities. You may just prefer Lorna's written by Peter David.

I went for Scalphunter. I always thought he was great and I wish he got more expoure. Arclight was a close second, I always loved her visual. Coming in third would be my countryman Harpoon. Stereotypes aside, he was pretty nasty and I love what he did to Warren!

She's the only one I'm really familar with thanks to the 90's show so I'm going with her. I prefer her look/colors in it to the green/white of the comics though
