I've never even felt jetlag before......so this should be an experience :D

Also while my main reason is to look up an old friend of mine - my dad has this whole Alex Haley 'Roots' thing with Australia. Distant relatives of my family were among the first to cross the continent and we've dozens of cousins, so I'm to look them up too for him. He's quite ill these days, so in some way I'm doing something he never got a chance to.

Anyway, wow, stroke of a key and it's arranged. Now I only have to face hellish queues, long stopovers, the hygiene issues of fellow passengers and the statistically likely chance of dying in a mid-air explosion.....should be fun ;)

If you DO blow up in midair, at least it wasn't our fault: Grenade gets past airport security . Yup, you read that right. Los Angeles airport security somehow missed a friggin' GRENADE amongst all the hair gel, nail clippers and scissors being confiscated. It was discovered in Sydney. The passenger declared it when he arrived!
