That law is outrageous and undemocratic. Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if the Democrats were trying to get rid of those laws because they will get more votes, just as it's pretty likely that the Republicans made the law in the first place for exactly the same reason.

One of the principles of democracies is that everyone of voting age gets an equal (and secret) vote. Any law that prevents anyone from getting this vote (even people who are currently in prison) violates that.

    Default sorry

Sorry, but Democrats in Kentucky passed our laws that ban felons from voting (Kentucky has ALWAYS been ruled by Democrats) so you're blaming of Republicans for the law is wrong. In fact, it just goes to show back when the concern was doing the right thing, the law was passed because dangerous felons forfiet their rights by their disregard for society and it's rules. Of course now that the concern is doing what will get you elected, Dems are out for every vote they can get.

Now I see Mr. Grant has taken to viciously openly attacking the Pope as well as Republicans. It's never too long before the most passionate liberals reveal their true and utter hatred for religion.

Okay then in that case it's a reasonable guess that the Democrats were well intentioned, but completely wrong when they made the law and are not selfishly intentioned but actually right now they're trying to get rid of it.
