DARK HORSE COMICS
Buffy The Vampire Slayer #1, $2.99 - more than likely a trade item, but I'm interested to see how this starts. I didn't really watch the last couple of seasons of Buffy though...wonder if that will hinder my enjoyment?
52 Week #45, $2.50 - good reading!
Civil War The Confession, $2.99 - Should be interesting. Irredeemable Ant-Man #6, $2.99 - great book. New Avengers #28, $2.99 - probably the first book I read this week.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1: Looking forward to this one, as a huge fan of the show. Kind of looking forward to the second arc already, just to see what BKV can do.
52, Week 45: As Cartman would say, "$#it is going down!!." Damn, only eight more issues, which is a lot in a normal comic, but this will probably fly by. Fables #45: Still one of the best books on the racks.
Civil War: The Confession: This is a maybe, since to be honest, I'm not the biggest Maleev fan. But it's still should be interesting, so I may pick it up. Ghost Rider #9: Jack O'Lantern!! Still enjoying this book. it's not the greatest thing ever, but it's good dependable fun. Irredeemable Ant-man #6: Catching on with me. Still not my favorite book, but I still like the art, and can't wait to see the Cory Walker fill in issue. Moon Knight #8: I think the last Finch issue, so we'll see how good the new guy is, and see if I stick with it. New Avengers #28: Back on a monthly schedule, hopefully Yu got a bunch of issues in the can, and they can keep spitting this book out. Loved the last issue, can't wait for this one. Punisher War Journal #5: And after the news today, may be dropping this one. We'll see how it goes. Last issue was fun though.
And if my tax rebate check comes in, I'll pick up the Miller Daredevil omnibus.
Egads! It's the return of Tracie And Her Long Effing List!
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER #1 $2.99
Guess what book Tracie will be reading first! (The Answer: Betty & Veronica #225!) 52 WEEK #45 $2.50
Why did the characters I was liking most have to die or become evil? [glares at Rucka/Waid/Johns/Morrison/Giffen] The proverbial fecal matter is hitting the fan. FABLES #58 (MR) $2.99
I am so embarassingly behind on this, it's unreal. I blame Civil War/Infinite52CountdownCrisis-whatsis and me having to stay on top of everything before the national news spoils it. Now if the AP jumps in with a HUGE story about Fables, I'll be screwed. GEN 13 #6 $2.99
I love this sooooo much! Probably my favorite Gail book right now.
[b]GREEN ARROW #72 $2.99/[b]
Why do you have to end in 3 more issues??? ROBIN #160 $2.99
Like Beechen and Williams II on this, and I'm happy to see Beechen moving to Teen Titans. SUPERMAN #660 $2.99
I am so confused as to what issues of either Superman books are supposed to be what, at this point, but I'll read them reguardless because Busiek and co. do good work and I love Big Blue. TEEN TITANS #44 $2.99
More Titans East actiony awesomeitude. WILDSTORM FINE ARTS SPOTLIGHT J SCOTT CAMPBELL $3.50
I don't remember if I ordered this but it sounded nice to look at, but I never saw how the Jim Lee one turned out. WONDER WOMAN #5 (RES) $2.99
I believe this is Will Pfiefer's fill-in prelude to Amazons Attack. CIVIL WAR THE CONFESSION $2.99
BENDIS AND MALEEV!! VERY much looking forward to what Bendis does with this, what I imagine to be Tony and Steve's final moments together. Second thing I will read tomorrow. FRANKLIN RICHARDS MARCH MADNESS $2.99
These are very cute but at this point I should probably start relying on the digests. IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN #6 $2.99
Kirkman and Hester pack a LOT into these issues. Those 16 panel grids are GREAT! NEW AVENGERS #28 $2.99
Third thing I will read tomorrow! Bendis and Yu OWN on this, and I am LOVING seeing the new team in action! (but WHOOOO is Ronin???) NEW X-MEN #36 $2.99
Still REALLY stinkin' great. SPIDER-MAN REIGN #4 (OF 4) $3.99
Can't wait to see the end of Kaare's great story. THUNDERBOLTS #112 $2.99
I miss Nextwave. :( WOLVERINE ORIGINS #12 $2.99
Where's Jubilee????? WONDERLAND #3 $3.50
I love Sonny Liew's depictions of Wonderland!!! :D
I cannot express in human words the excitement I feel for Buffy Season 8 #1. I will have to somehow find the time to crack it open before I run to play rehearsal at 6:30 tomorrow. (I typically don't hit the comic shop 'til after 4:00, unless I have to work late)

The Lone Ranger#5-this has been a pretty good mini series. Can't wait for the final issue. Blade#7-The guy where I buy my books said this was the final issue? Thunderbolts Presents:Zemo-pretty good so far Buffy the Vampire Slayer#1-loved the series so I'll see how this is. Spider-Girl#6-Still love this series Civil War:The Confession-looks pretty good Thunderbolts#112-I love Deodato's art New Avengers#28-can't say I'm a fan of the art but I'll give it a bit longer Moon Knight#8-loving this series Ghost Rider#9-one of my favorite monthly titles Friday the 13th#4-best of the Wildstorm horror line
So our store got stiffed our copies of Civil War: The Confession (my second most-looked-forward-to book, this week). Same thing happened with Choosing Sides way back when.
I totally didn't notice, though, that KING CITY Vol. 1 was out this week. It's a new series from TokyoPop by a brilliant American artist named Brandon Graham (ESCALATOR and MEATHAUS). He has an Oni book coming out this year called MULTIPLE WARHEADS.
Green Lantern Corps Vol 2 #10 $2.99: this was better at the end than the whole of the book. they should still focus on more of the support characters, but this remains a fun book.
Teen Titans Vol 3 #44 $2.99:This storyline has been really fun, and it continues! The art, the plot and the action!! Wonderful!
Wonder Woman Vol 3 #5 $2.99:Wow, I initally thought this one was gonna be a story to hit you over the head with morals, but it was just fun, and inspiring. I like when the good gals win.
Pride of Baghdad HC - Signed by BKV - $19.95: This was a great read. Heard about it, but maybe missed it? The art was great, fit the story very well. They obviously researched their subjects. Anyways, it was pricey, but good to see it had some depth to it.
Franklin Richards March Madness $2.99:Read lots of this online already. Kid fun. Some good moments. Thought there would be more with b-ball themes in the book.
Jack Kirbys Galactic Bounty Hunters #5 $2.99:This was the book I thought WW was gonna be. I usually like this book, but this one was too....ketchy.
Amaze Ink/Slave Labor Graphics
Wonderland #3 $3.50:How I missed this, I don't know. SLG (despite Heidi's thread) continues to put out quality that I find as some of the best. Tracie is correct about Sonny, he's the man! (I remember from, My Faith in Frankie). Lots of the book is a fairly literal story about Alice books, with side-stories included. The art is magical without being lost in it's own art. I loved this so much, I also picked up the back-issues for #1 & #2.
Dinowars Jurassic War Of The Worlds #3 $2.99:Honestly, I got this cause Rod draws pretty girls. I like the look of them. The story was okay, but the end was super-cheesy.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Grind #2 & #3: I picked these up b/c I was wondering what happened to the great start. I never heard anything about the books past the first one, then I saw that some other company was putting these horror books out. They are as gruesome as their covers suggest. And though I am horrified by the art, at least it's quality and no holding back. The story could do with a little more work, but as for horror, the Avatar TCM books are the ones I'd go with. I still don't know why they decided to 'keep' her though.
Devils Due Publishing
Hack Slash vs Chucky Cvr A Seeley $5.50: Not sure about the variation cover I got, but this was good stuff. Unexpected twists, great ending and good art.
Lone Ranger Vol 4 #5 $2.99: Dammit! I keep on missing these! I picked up this one and the #1 Directors' Commentary issue. I really want the 1st trade now. The art and story are obviously respectful of the idea of the old west, what it and the people represent and how a book should tell a story in that type of setting. Finally, an old west book that's good.
Kenzer & Company
Knights Of The Dinner Table #124 $4.99: This was fun. Hard to comment on this type of book, but I like the new art and the additional side stories.
Sabrina Vol 2 #83 $2.25: This was lots of fun!!! :D Sabrina sometimes gets too involved in emo stuff, but this was just an amusing read. I wonder why it took so long to get this out? I wonder if it had to do with the 'failed' movie they tried to make?
