I thought it was JRJR too, but that's not even close to the costume Cable was wearing in Blood and Metal, the two-parter that JRJR drew.

Nor is it from X-Cutioner's Song:

I'm questioning whether that costume ever was actually used regularly, if at all. I suspect it WAS from some special deal like a handbook or something (though it wasn't from the binder version).

It looks like a Capullo head on a JRJR body!!?? It's a flesh golem...unholy abomination!!!

So, Azmo, I guess what I am saying is that I have no idea. The uniform looks like Capullo era at least (X-force early teens). Probably from an early to mid-nineties book. I know that doesn't help, but at least we might have a timeframe.

I was thinking it could be as well...though it seemed a little detailed. Then again I only ever collected that Lee X-men set, so what do I know...

Anyway, I've e-mailed MarvelDirectory.com to see if they can tell us where they got the image.

i'm really thinking it's from Stryfe's Stryke Files, a one shot that followed up X-Cutioners song. I seem to remember the coloring on a few characters was off, but i could be wrong...

Actually, now i'm flashing back to when cable came to back to x-force around 25 or so, during the whole Magneto bloodlines thing, but i still am probably wrong :)
